Yes,
Welcome to this mindfulness meditation.
It's a time for refreshing,
Replenishing,
Renewal.
A time for you to meet your deeper needs for inner nourishment,
Well-being,
Healing and wholeness.
So,
In the mindfulness process,
We kind of give ourselves a break.
We're often,
Sometimes,
Something in us can be a little hard on ourselves,
Demanding even,
Work schedules,
Personal commitments,
Expectations,
Perfectionism.
So,
We're giving ourselves a break,
A sense of self-compassion and care.
We are human,
Worthy of love and care.
So,
With this invitation,
We just let things settle,
Settling,
Settling into the warmth of compassion and care,
Settling onto the ground beneath us,
Landing,
Grounding and earthing,
Always available at all times,
Pausing to ground and becoming more available to the body,
To the sensing,
Inviting the sensing to begin resting and soothing in the sensing with this sense of self-care,
Self-warmth,
Self-compassion.
Letting your body sense around it,
The spaciousness in the room,
Or maybe you're outside.
Of course,
This space extends beyond the walls,
Into the vastness of the galaxies,
Feet on planet Earth,
And just beginning to settle with the breathing,
Flowing in and flowing out,
Noticing the subtleties of the air flowing in and flowing out,
The gentle caress of the air,
The invitation into soothing and calming,
Soothing and calming,
And just sensing how the body would like to soften here and there,
Maybe the shoulders,
Maybe the hands softening,
And maybe the jaw dropping slightly,
The lips softening,
The face softening and soothing with each in and out breath,
The forehead smoothing out like shimmering silk,
The whole body sensing and softening,
The body resting in the breathing as it Earths and grounds through the feet and the chair,
And just inviting a quality of warm self-compassion,
It's an attitude of tenderness,
Of softness,
Of understanding,
Of allowing,
Letting be.
So all the parts within us can find rest and peace,
Healing and health,
In their own unique way and time,
Supported by this whole sensing sense of yourself.
Perhaps inviting a sense of the sweet spot,
A place of deep well-being and wholeness,
That knows itself to be true in you,
We can invite this one to manifest and grow,
A place of deep peace,
Like a mighty ocean,
Crystal clear waters of healing and well-being in our depths,
Absorbing the waves of the mind,
The waves of feeling and emotion,
Into a unity,
Into a harmony,
Into a spaciousness,
A sweet fragrance,
And perhaps inviting this sense of care,
Kindness and compassion,
More outwards to those in the vicinity,
All the creatures and humans,
Extending outwards,
A beautiful perfume,
A sweet colour,
Radiating out,
Around the globe,
All beings,
Just picking up on this intention for wellness and happiness,
Extending beyond,
Into the infinity of the universe,
Sitting in this wellspring and depth of love and care,
That knows itself to be true,
And in all of this,
Just gently resting with the breathing,
As it flows in and out,
Respecting its own rhythm,
Resting here,
And just letting be,
Resting with this more open dimension of being,
That knows itself to be true.
Allowing these qualities to continue with you,
Perhaps evolving and growing in their own unique way,
As you go about your daily lives,
Always available at all times.
