In this practice, Sim will guide you to imagine sitting with your younger self by a campfire with natural sounds arising from the frog pond. Thank you for your courage to start to take care of your body and to transform trauma and drama into everyday bliss - for learning to trust your intuition as hard and confusing as this was to begin with. Listening and taking time to care for your own needs, whilst being a carer for others. Taking the time to study and learn from wise people along the way. Choosing to be kind and trusting of your own motivations. Letting go of all the other stuff people had projected onto you about who you were or what you did. Learning to give yourself the utmost authority to decide what your intentions are, to write them, design them, ask for them and to allow them to arrive.

Hello and welcome.

My name's Simonette and I'm so glad to have you join me in this beautiful meditation where you will imagine yourself sitting around a campfire with the younger version of yourself.

I'd like you to position yourself comfortably and you can close your eyes if you wish.

And there's this sense of making yourself so comfortable.

Your body's going to continue to relax as we move through this meditation practice.

And it's a practice where you're actively engaging the imagination.

And so be open to the suggestions I make.

And at the same time you have your own experience and my voice and suggestions have no need to disturb that.

And really just using this space and this time to connect in with that beautiful image of nature,

Of the sun setting in the sky.

And as the sun sets you breathe away all the everyday experiences,

Just letting them go.

And you make your way along a pathway that is very beautifully lit by the moon that has risen in the sky and perhaps that moon is a full moon.

And it guides you the pathway,

An emotional pathway connecting you to this beautiful campfire where your younger self is,

Your younger self who made the decision to be on this journey of self discovery and self care.

Your younger self has prepared the fireplace for you.

They're welcoming you with open arms and you can meet them and greet them with this beautiful warm heart to heart hug.

A heart to heart embrace,

Embracing with gratitude,

Thank you so much for this journey,

For this pathway that you've set me on.

And I'd like to tell you about how it's been for me.

And so you sit next to your younger self warmed by the fire,

Warm in your heart as you share your journey,

How it's been for you since your younger self started you on this path.

And your younger self is all ears giving you full attention,

So curious to know.

And this is your story,

Your experiences.

And I'm here as you feel the warmth and the love,

The self compassion growing like that beautiful fire.

</preإ And so as the moon shines so beautifully and brightly,

The fire subsiding.

Your story and experience shared with your younger self.

You can say farewell and thank you again.

It's time for you to return back to the here and now.

And bringing your attention back up to your body,

Back into the everyday sounds around you.

Feeling refreshed,

Feeling the wonder of your journey and your life.

And thank you for sharing this time together.

Bye for now.

This time my younger self was very young, 4 or 5 years old, so I shared only the highs and the joy, not in words but shared as a loving feeling… I love the nature sounds and the koshi (it did cut off abruptly tho) Beautiful, thank you 🙂
