
Deep Transformation: Inner Masculine & Feminine
During this inner shamanic journey, you will discover a way to bridge the gap that separates and divides. This will arise naturally within you from your psyche and desire for . Reverence for the mystery and serendipity will allow you to go within and visit the landscapes and impressions of feminine and masculine. You will visit your sacred river, forever flowing inside of you. Archetypes, Carl Yung, self-inquiry, shamanic teachings and my deep desire for wholeness and harmony helped to transform the relationships within my psyche. I relate this to Soul retrieval - inviting any rejected or split-off aspects to return. Collective stories, unique origins help you to grow in your acceptance and reach your desire for union, reunion.

Welcome back.
I hope you're enjoying showing your true colours.
Today we're going to be looking at building that harmony within,
Within the image and aspects of your masculinity and femininity.
And as this is a group appropriate meditation,
For ease of your practice,
I'm going to be referring to the right side of your body as the masculine aspect and the left side of your body as the feminine.
If you prefer or discover that this is reversed for you,
Please ignore my suggestions and go with what feels right for you.
You can still listen deeply and receive the guidance to bring all aspects together as you accept all of yourself.
Again,
Coming to the wholehearted acceptance,
A full bodied acceptance.
Sometimes when our vulnerability begins to slip out between our skin and we observe and surrender to the release,
This can bring a softening,
A joyful lightness of being.
Vulnerability is how we connect with each other,
Communicating through our skin,
Through our salty tears,
Tears that maybe seem to never end.
And then the new dawn arises.
So allowing for whatever arises in you,
Sacred vulnerability.
So taking some time now to sit back as I guide you to connect with this beautiful sense of inner harmony.
To begin with,
We're going to be focusing in on the body,
Getting you to connect in with sensations and feelings on different parts of your body.
And then we'll be moving from that to the imagery that comes from your imagination,
From deep within your unconscious.
And this doesn't imply that there's just one image of the masculine or feminine,
But there may be many.
And it may be that the images come to you in the form of colors rather than figures or beings.
So positioning yourself comfortably now.
I'd like you to close your eyes and to connect in with your breathing.
And position yourself comfortably.
Allow your breathing to fall to its own natural rhythm and harmony.
Breathing easily and comfortably.
Allowing your thoughts to reflect on images of masculine and feminine.
So scanning your body from the top part of your head.
Putting your attention into your head.
And scanning all the way down through to your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your arms.
Putting your attention on the area of your chest,
Your stomach.
Just noticing how it's feeling in your body.
Focusing on your lower back,
Your hips.
And moving your attention into your legs and into your feet.
And you might notice an energy moving through your body as you focus in this way.
And so I'd like you to allow for that energy to flow through your body.
To be aware of the different sensations in your body as I make suggestions to you to focus on either the masculine or the feminine.
And what I'm going to ask you to do is to imagine that there's a line that you can draw down the center of your body,
The center of your being.
And just for this process,
Imagining that the left side of your body will represent the feminine,
The feminine aspects.
And that the right side of your body will reflect the masculine side,
Masculine aspects.
And so as you draw that imaginary division through the center of your body,
I'd like you to begin to focus on the left side of your body.
And I wonder what you notice on the left side of your body as you scan again from the top of your head all the way through to your left foot.
And I'd like you just to be aware of any part of your body that feels uncomfortable,
That seems to speak to you on the left side.
And then doing the same with the right side of your body.
Putting your attention to the top part of your head and just scanning gently through the right side of your body all the way down to your right foot.
That's good.
And then again,
Notice,
Are there any parts of the right side of your body that seem to speak to you in sensations?
That's good.
And so now what I'd like you to do is to imagine yourself in a very beautiful place in nature with a river.
And I'd like you to allow yourself to feel safe and comfortable on a rock that is positioned right in the middle of this river.
And that you're sitting comfortably on this rock and you're looking outward and forward.
And so finding yourself on that position now,
Sitting on this rock very comfortably and safely,
It's a big rock.
And underneath you is the flowing water flowing past you.
So allow that image to grow and to form.
And it's okay if you don't get a strong image of it,
Just a sense of sitting on this rock comfortably,
Safely and looking out,
Seeing the river.
And now I'd like you to just focus on the left side of this river.
And notice what the landscape is like for you there.
How does the left side appear to you?
What are the images and the impressions?
And in a few moments,
I'm going to ask you to call on the images of your feminine.
And I'd like you just to sit there and observe the images that come towards you.
And you observe and notice how the feminine is.
What does the feminine look like?
So now,
Calling on the feminine to come towards you.
And now I'd like you to just call on your feminine side and observe and see,
Notice and sense your feminine.
And what feelings do you experience when you observe the feminine?
Images of your feminine self.
Images of your feminine aspects.
Take that in and be aware of what appears to you there on the left side.
And now I'd like you to move your gaze over to the right side of the river.
And notice what the right side appears to you as.
How does it look there?
Looking to the right side of the river.
And again,
I'd like you to call on your masculine images to come towards you on the right side of the bank.
And so call on your masculine aspects,
The images that are represented there.
And notice how the masculine appears to you.
And what is the emotions or the feelings that you sense about the masculine aspect?
Take that into your awareness.
Notice the essence,
The qualities of the masculine.
So as you sit there on your rock,
From that vantage point you can see and notice the maleness and the femaleness,
The aspects of the feminine and the masculine.
And I wonder,
What is it like when the masculine invites the feminine to come to be on the right side of the bank?
So just notice that.
What's that like for you?
And likewise,
What is it like when the feminine invites the masculine to be on the left side of the bank?
Notice what happens when the feminine invites the masculine to be on the left side.
What's that like?
And again,
Just observing and noticing,
Is there any difference?
Does it feel different when it's the masculine inviting the feminine?
Does it feel different when the feminine invites the masculine?
And so just noticing that.
And then I'm wondering if you can invite them to be together,
That they can become in harmony with each other,
That they can dance with each other,
That they can cooperate and accept and acknowledge their difference,
The way they complement each other.
And perhaps you can be aware of a surge of energy through your body,
Spiraling through your body,
Uniting and combining the masculine and the feminine within yourself that makes you whole and complete,
Balanced.
That there is a comfortableness and an energy within your body that harmonizes and balances you.
And so in this process now,
Allow for that life force to show you and to heal you.
Let that energy move through your body to come to a point,
To come to a place where it's comfortable for your masculine and your feminine to be together.
A sense of reunion.
And so feel that balance now in your body,
In your thoughts,
In your heart.
Breathing easily.
The beauty and the difference all accepted,
Feeling the beat of your heart.
And so I wonder how your landscape appears to you and that you can move from your rock,
That you can move back into the solidness of your body.
And that as you move back into the awareness of your physical form,
That you can spend some time and then just letting go or getting rid of that division that was created before.
So that there is no sense of division.
That there is just a unity there.
A unity and yet an acceptance of the difference and the diversity within yourself.
And so I'd like you to get a sense of breathing in from the soles of your feet and breathing right up through your body into your abdomen,
Into your hips and your back.
Breathing right up into your lungs,
Your neck,
Your head.
Getting a sense of that energy moving and flowing through you freely like that beautiful river flowing.
Flowing out through your hands,
Palms of your hands.
Feeling grounded.
Feeling comfortable in your body.
Breathing easily.
And allowing for the flow of the water to cleanse and to purify.
To soothe your body and your spirit.
And so as we finish this process now,
You might like to at the end get out your journal and make a few notes of your experience.
Because you might like to go back to this visualization again at different times in your life.
Just to check in with how the masculine and the feminine are.
How are things going within you in that way?
And so just taking a nice deep breath.
Feeling refreshed and cleansed and revitalized from this process.
And so wriggling your toes and your fingers.
And opening your eyes and being fully refreshed and revitalized and back in the present here and now.

This was a deeply moving meditation. I’ve never considered these energies before and I was surprised to find that I carry a lot of negative imagery with the masculine. This has been very eye-opening and empowering. Now that I’m aware, I can cultivate a love for masculinity and the beauty with which the two energies can support each other to benefit both.
