Anxiety,
A monster running through my body.
It feeds off fear and wants me to remain hidden from the world.
The less I run from it,
The weaker it becomes.
When my breathing slows down and my body is relaxed,
It vanishes from sight.
Anxiety is not the master of my domain.
It is not the master of anything.
Anxiety lives in the future.
It prevents true potential from coming to the surface.
For it is a state of survival.
I want to live and thrive,
Not survive.
Anxiety is not the king or queen.
It is not the master and will never be.
Anxiety has shown me who I can be when fear is not running through me.
Anxiety is a teacher,
Not a master.
It is easy to get caught in its wrath,
But life is a gift,
Not a disaster.
Anxiety is not you.
Anxiety is not me.
Connect with your breath and you can set yourself free.
