Hello,

My name is Shirelle Moore Tucker and welcome to this visualization on relieving stress.

Find a comfortable seated position either sitting in a chair or lying down.

Make yourself comfortable.

And if you like,

Begin to soften the eyes or begin to close them all the way.

Notice how your body feels in this very moment.

No need to try to change anything.

Simply notice how your body and your mind feels.

Feel your body begin to relax.

Notice how the shoulders begin to relax.

Your jaw softens and your eyelids become more heavy.

Take a deep breath in and hold it and breathe it out nice and slow.

For a moment,

Notice your breathing.

Feel the pause as you inhale and as you exhale.

Allow your body and your mind to focus on calming colors.

Allow the relaxation to occur naturally and simply observe the colors in your mind's eye.

Imagine the color red and all the shades of red in nature,

In your home.

Enjoy the color red.

Imagine the tones of red as you see roses,

Bricks,

Maybe even apples or sunsets.

Now allow the color you are imagining to change to orange.

Notice the infinite shades of orange.

Orange flowers,

Pumpkins or even carrots.

Enjoy the color orange.

Begin to visualize the color yellow.

In your mind's eye,

Allow yellow to feel your vision.

Lemons,

Flowers or the fall leaves.

Imagine yourself surrounded with the calming color yellow.

Enjoy the color yellow.

Let the color you are imagining become green.

Fill your imagination with the color green.

Notice the endless shades and tones of green,

Plants,

Leaves and the grass.

Notice the lightest shades to the darkest shades of green.

Enjoy green.

Imagine blue,

Feeling your vision.

Enjoy the color blue.

Imagine the ocean,

The blue sky.

Immerse yourself in the color blue.

Now draw your attention and return to your breathing.

Notice how calm and regular your breathing is now.

Take a moment to imagine the colors one at a time,

Starting with the color red.

Now imagine the color orange.

Fill your mind with the color yellow.

And yellow becomes green.

See the color blue.

Now picture whatever calming color you wish.

Do you have a favorite or a color that suits your mood right now?

Whatever color you like,

Allow your mind to be relaxed,

Calm and relaxed.

In a moment,

You'll return your attention to your regular activities,

Feeling more alert with each breath you take and more aware of your surroundings.

Take a moment to gently stretch your muscles,

Extending your arms and stretching your legs.

And finally,

Open your eyes,

Feeling alert and calm and less stressed.

Peace and blessings.

Namaste.
