This can be seated or laying down on the ground,
Whichever is comfier to you in this moment.
And allow your body to settle into the surface beneath you.
Taking a few deep breaths,
Inhaling through the nose.
A heavy exhale out the mouth.
Another one like that.
Deep inhale through the nose.
And maybe a sigh or heavy exhale.
And then continuing to breathe in through the nose,
Starting to slow down the exhale out of the mouth.
I'm just arriving into this body with each inhale.
I am here.
I'm arriving with this each exhale,
Relaxing.
Being more at ease.
Knowing there is nowhere else you need to be.
Just landing here.
And as you continue to breathe gently,
I want you to bring your awareness to the top of your head.
We're just gonna do a little body scan here.
Imagining that there is a warm,
Soothing light gently touching the top of your head and slowly melting away any tension.
Allow this light to move down your forehead,
Your eyebrows,
Into that space between your eyes that connects you to your intuition.
Feel it relaxing your temples,
Your cheeks,
And your jaw.
Allow this warm,
Soothing light to flow down your neck and shoulders,
Releasing any tightness.
Feel the warmth spreading down your arms,
Relaxing your elbows,
Forearms,
Wrists,
And finally your hands.
Letting your fingers soften and rest easily.
Now let the light travel down through your chest and your upper back,
Loosening any tension in your heart space.
Feel it gently moving down your spine,
Relaxing each vertebrae.
Allow the light to spread across your abdominum,
Releasing any tightness in your stomach.
Feel this warm,
Soothing light as it moves into your hips,
Your thighs,
Your knees,
And down through your calves and ankles.
Finally,
Letting it reach your feet,
Gently relaxing each toe.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Feel your entire body sinking deeper into relaxation.
You are fully supported by the earth beneath you,
Safe and at peace.
Now bring your awareness to the base of your spine,
Your root chakra.
Imagine that from this space,
Roots begin to grow,
Slowly extending down into the earth.
These roots move through the layers of soil,
Deeper and deeper,
Connecting you with the energy of Mama Gaia,
Mother Earth.
Feel the stability,
The grounding energy of the earth as it flows up through your roots into your body.
This energy is nurturing,
Protective,
And strong.
Allow yourself to lean on this connection,
Knowing that you are held and supported by the earth.
With each breath,
Feel your roots growing deeper and stronger,
Anchoring you firmly to the ground.
You are rooted,
Stable,
And grounded.
Now,
Gently shift your awareness to the crown of your head.
Imagine a soft,
Bright light hovering just above your crown chakra.
The light represents the universal spirit,
The source of infinite wisdom and guidance.
As you breathe in,
Imagine this light gently opening up,
Creating a channel above you.
Feel the light pouring in,
Flowing down through the top of your head,
Filling your mind,
Your body,
And your spirit with clarity,
Insight,
And wisdom.
Feel this connection,
Both from the earth below and the universe above.
You are open to receiving guidance,
Intuition,
And inspiration from your highest source.
At the same time,
You are held,
Supported,
And grounded from the Mother Earth.
Now,
Bring your attention to the center of your chest,
The heart space,
Where these two channels meet.
Imagine a warm,
Glowing light here,
Radiating love and compassion.
