Welcome to the self-love meditation.
Please find a comfortable seated position or if you'd like lay down.
Make sure you're comfortable.
If you're sitting down,
Press your sit bones down into the earth and lengthen your spine up into the sky a little bit.
Take a breath into your body wherever you are and as you exhale,
Relax.
Take another big breath into your body and exhale.
And if you haven't closed your eyes yet,
Please do so now.
Welcome your breath into your body,
Breathing in and out through your nose.
Taking big inhalations and complete exhalations.
Allow your body to receive the inhale,
So soften each time a little bit more to welcome the breath a little bit more.
Notice if there's anything weighing on you,
On your heart or in your mind.
And use your exhalations to release a little bit of the tension,
The contraction or the heaviness.
Let it go through your breath and welcoming a new breath as you inhale.
Releasing,
Liberating yourself a little bit more.
Now I invite you to move your awareness into your heart space and sending yourself love and appreciation for being here right now.
For loving yourself in this way,
In this way you are here.
For some reason it's really hard to stop the merry-go-round of our lives to pause and do something good for ourselves.
But you're here,
You made it and it is not a small action.
Send yourself the love you deserve.
Right now,
Appreciate your efforts.
As you allow now the breath to breathe into your body,
Acknowledge that this breath that's breathing into your body is full of love.
The love of the universe is pouring into every cell of your body.
The love of the universe is sustaining you.
The love of the universe has created you.
Allow this breath to love you.
And notice every organ in your body.
How they work for you.
How each organ sustains you.
Send love to all the organs in your body.
Send love to your nervous system.
Soothing your own self.
To be relaxed and be here in the present moment.
Feeling calm and at ease in your own body.
Notice how your body is breathing.
How the breath is breathing you now.
Notice how your system has settled.
And perhaps feeling more balanced.
And now I invite you to forgive yourself for any unmet expectations that you might have about yourself.
Perhaps you're not where you would like to be in your life today.
Or anything that you might want to forgive yourself for.
This is the time right now to lighten your inner load.
To heal your relationship with yourself.
A little less burdened and more free.
Maybe you want to visualize yourself hugging yourself.
Hugging your inner child or hugging your soul.
What would you like to say to yourself?
And in which way would you like to make it better from now on?
And taking this opportunity of forgiveness.
Is there anyone in your life you would like to forgive at this time?
Sometimes holding on to a grudge makes us more harm.
And can we forgive the unforgivable?
Perhaps there's something that's been quite grand in your life and it's really hard to forgive.
Can you find it within you to forgive?
If you're ready so that you can actually liberate yourself.
And now sitting with yourself in your own space.
Your own energetic space.
Sitting with yourself in presence.
Walking alongside yourself.
No inner resistance,
No inner battle.
Feeling a sense of inner harmony with yourself.
And allowing yourself to sit in deep silence and presence.
