Hi,
This is Shawna Marie.
This meditation is on beauty.
We all want to be beautiful or want to have beautiful people in our lives and beauty is something that many of us strive for but we don't really take the time to really look at the energy of beauty in our space so this meditation is going to do that and we're gonna just take some time and explore what beauty is for us.
So I invite you to just close your eyes and just find a comfortable place to sit maybe with your your back upright and your feet on the floor and we're just really gonna start to soften into this space.
Just start to really relax your face and your cheekbones,
Your jaw,
The back of your head.
Yeah,
Drop your shoulders.
Notice your breath.
Just feel yourself breathe in and breathe out.
Maybe bring that breath all the way down to your heart space.
You're breathing in and out from there and all the way down to your stomach.
So you're breathing in and out from there.
And start to relax your arms,
Soften your hands,
Your fingers,
Relax your torso.
Kind of feel your sit bone.
Just settle your energy even deeper.
Relax your legs,
Your thighs,
Your calves,
Your shins,
Feet,
Toes.
Just feel that connection with the earth in your feet.
Kind of the gravity pull of your body to the earth.
Now I invite you to step into the center of your head,
The space behind your third eye.
And it's from this place that we're gonna just say hello to the energy of beauty.
When you say hello to it,
You might see this energy in front of you or you just might notice what comes up with it.
Just look for a moment.
What comes up with the energy of beauty?
Maybe you see a color,
Many colors.
You might see the energy moving a certain way.
You might see that it's filled with emotions.
Is there any judgment energy in it?
Invalidation?
Just notice whatever comes up for you.
Anything that comes up related to the energy of beauty.
Now let's just say hello to any unhealthy energy that doesn't belong to you that may be affecting your perception or idea of beauty.
And again just notice what comes up.
Again you might see another color or another movement.
Maybe you notice a person,
Energy from a partner or past partner and their ideas of beauty.
You might see your parents energy here.
Perhaps the media or society or even medical energy or what doctors tell you.
Perhaps you see some invalidation energy or competition energy in this space.
Maybe even programming or control energy.
Just notice what it is for you.
Any unhealthy energy related to beauty that might be coming up in the space for you.
We can just put out a bubble in front of you and just set the intention this bubble just fills up with all the unhealthy energy related to beauty that is affecting your own ideas of what it means to be beautiful.
Just fill in that bubble with anything you're ready to let go of.
Just fill your bubble up with all that energy you're willing to let go of in this moment.
You might see it leaving your space.
You might feel it leaving your space.
You might just know that it's leaving the space.
Yeah when your bubbles all filled in you just send it far far away.
Then just pop it.
Yeah now we're gonna look at the energy of beauty in its pure form without all the energy of other people in it.
And let's just look at that energy and say hello to it.
Energy in the pure form.
Your own idea of what beauty is without all the unhealthy outside influences.
Notice this form of beauty.
What color is this?
Does this have a movement?
What do you see in it?
Is it just physical or is it more than that?
Does this form have emotions?
And is there validation here?
Self-love?
And we can just take this pure form of beauty,
This energy that we're looking at it,
And just set the intention that we're going to bring it into our bodies.
So I invite you to just bring it in to wherever you want in your body.
You might have a certain place that you send it to.
You might allow it to just flow throughout.
Kind of run through your chakras or run through your heart space.
Might even send it all the way from your feet all the way up your head.
Just really soak this pure form of beauty in.
You may just watch it happen or you can feel it happen.
Yeah,
Now I invite you just to take a few deep breaths from your heart space.
Allow yourself to really bask in this beauty.
Beauty in the pure form.
Your own beauty.
And when you're all filled in with this beautiful pure energy of beauty,
I invite you to just notice your feet on the ground.
Maybe start to move them a little bit.
Notice your legs.
Maybe start to sway your body just a tiny bit.
Roll your shoulders.
When you're ready,
You can slowly start to come out of meditation.
And I just want to remind you that you are a beautiful soul and you get to define beauty in your own way.
You get to own your own beauty and that's a really powerful place to be because nobody else gets to tell you what it means to be beautiful.
You get to be beautiful in your own way.
