We tend to spend so much time in our heads and our minds that we forget to tune into the intuitive wisdom that lives and is our body.
I invite you to take a moment and get really comfortable,
Feeling cool air as you breathe in through the nostrils and warm air as you breathe out,
Inviting all the parts of the body that are touching,
Whatever you're resting on to melt into those places,
To get heavy,
To soften shoulders,
To open forehead,
To release jaw,
And to feel as if your awareness and your energy is beginning to sink down from your head into your heart center space,
Middle of the chest.
Taking a really nice,
Deep inhale and a sigh out.
In my body,
I am home.
Your body is your home.
Your body is your safe place.
And we sometimes forget this.
We focus on our minds,
On things that have yet to happen,
Things that have already happened.
We forget to feel,
To sink,
To be in our bodies.
So I invite you to take a moment right here,
Right now,
And breathe into your face,
Into your eyes,
Into your nose and cheeks and ears.
Breathe into your throat and your neck,
Into your collarbones and shoulders.
Breathe into your chest and your upper back,
Your shoulder blades.
Breathe deeply into your belly and let it expand and round and bloom.
Into your ribs and back.
Breathe into your stability,
That pelvic floor of hips,
Pelvis,
Bum,
Tailbone.
And follow that breath down your legs to your ankles,
Feet,
And toes.
Breathing into your whole body at once and feeling this expansion,
This remembering,
This coming back to who you are,
To your home.
Your body is your home.
It's where you can come back to to feel and to be.
You're welcomed.
You belong there.
Your body is desperately wanting to hold you,
To keep you safe,
To show you love.
Sometimes you forget to come back.
If it feels good for you,
Take a moment to bring awareness to your heart center or maybe place hands on your chest.
Feel the warmth,
Your heartbeat,
Your breath.
And repeat these words to your body.
I am here.
I am home.
I am here.
I am home.
I love you.
I am here.
I am home.
I love you.
Be open to what you feel here in this space,
In your home.
And remind yourself to come back here as often as you can remember.
You're welcome to stay here and enjoy where you can slowly begin to flutter open eyes.
Move your jaw.
Breathe deeply.
Thank you for your time and for sharing yourself with me.
I am home.
I am home.
I love you.
