My name is Charlene and I am going to guide you on an animal adventure meditation.
The first thing we need to do is get comfortable and find a position that feels cozy for you.
This can be lying down or sitting up.
Make sure you have a blanket over you to keep warm and gently close your eyes.
Let's begin by taking a nice deep breath in through your nose and blow the air out of your mouth pretending you are blowing out a candle.
The candle is still burning.
Let's breathe again,
Taking a deep breath in through your nose and this time a little stronger exhale to blow out our pretend candle.
The candle is burning so strong.
One more time,
Let's try this again.
Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Finally,
We blew out the candle.
Now go ahead and wiggle your toes and wiggle your fingers.
Great.
Now relax your body and open your mouth real wide just like you are when you are yawning.
Let your mouth and lips relax just like how you are when you are sleeping.
With your eyes still closed and breathing steady with a calm body,
We are now going to pretend that we are all big brown bears in the forest.
Using your imagination,
Pretend that you have a fuzzy warm fur all over your skin.
You have big brown eyes,
A long nose,
Cute bear ears and big paws in place of your hands and feet.
As you walk along the forest,
You hear birds chirping and a river close by.
The sun is shining through the trees and is warming your cuddly bear body.
You notice that your tummy is getting hungry,
So you walk over to the river to catch a yummy fish to eat.
Bears love water,
So you find a shallow part of the river and splash around looking for fish.
The water feels good on your feet and you spot a large fish with shiny scales swimming along.
Now let's take a big deep breath in through your nose and hold your breath as you dip your nose into the water.
You catch a tasty fish and release your breath out through your mouth.
You take your fish back to the forest and stop to enjoy your meal.
Once your tummy feels full,
You decide to head back deep into the forest where your comfortable den awaits you.
As you walk along,
You pass by all of your friends including owl,
Bunny and fox.
As you approach your den,
You walk inside,
Curl up and fall fast asleep.
