This grounding practice was designed to gather and anchor energy deeply into the body.

To help assist you in this process,

It's helpful to bring into your awareness that all living beings have an energy field extending in and around the body.

Every thought,

Feeling,

And expression we have moves energy.

Over time,

We can unknowingly leave our personal energy in places,

Spaces,

And with others.

This can leave us feeling drained and fatigued or causing imbalances in the body,

Mind,

And soul.

Developing a grounding practice will connect and align your physical,

Mental,

Emotional,

And spiritual layers of your being.

To begin this grounding mindfulness practice,

You will want to lie comfortably in an upright position with your feet firmly on the ground or floor.

Shift your attention now to your heart center,

The space in the middle of your chest.

Take a nice,

Calm,

Comfortable breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

One more intentional breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Noticing if you are holding tension anywhere in the body and breathing into that area,

Creating space,

And allowing each breath to bring a wave of softening throughout the body.

Keeping in mind as we move along that all is required to successfully move energy is your intention.

Now using your intention silently in your mind or out loud,

Whatever feels good to you,

We are now going to call home all energy that is yours and that is your highest good.

Repeat after me,

I call all of my energy that is my highest good home to me now.

All of my thoughts,

Feelings,

Energy particles,

And cords.

Return to me now.

Using imagination,

Visualization,

And intention,

Imagine all of your energy returning to your heart center.

All thoughts,

Feelings,

Particles,

And cords returning now.

Taking another soft and gentle breath in through the nose and out through the mouth,

Allow this energy to integrate back into you.

Now that you have gathered your energy,

We are now going to anchor this energy into the earth.

Imagine your spine continuing to grow down like an anchor and visualize this anchor extending from your spine,

Passing down into the soil,

Plants,

Rocks,

Crystals,

All the way to the molten iron center of the earth.

Allow your energetic anchor to plant firmly here.

This molten iron core is generating a strong magnetic field of energy that is hugging you to the earth.

Draw this energy up your anchor,

Back through the crystals,

Rocks,

Plants,

And soil,

And imagine this magnetic warm energy flowing all the way up to your physical body and filling your mind,

Body,

And soul with a loving and nurturing energy and a solid foundation to stand upon.

And now that your energy is anchored to the earth,

Using your intention and your imagination,

We are now going to fill your energetic atmosphere with trees and plants and flowers.

So imagine now surrounding you,

Our beautiful trees,

Lovely flowers of all colors,

A warm sun or a misty rain,

A flowing creek or a river.

Allow your heart to recognize your incredible connection to the earth,

Inviting the earth's energy to walk with you daily.
