Welcome.
Take a moment to ground yourself into your space with a few intentional breaths.
Imagine your day so far,
Any stress that you might carry with you,
Rolling off your skin the way a rain droplet would roll down a window.
If you need more time to become present here,
Need more time to gather a few breaths and sit in stillness,
You are welcome to pause here and do so.
Allow yourself to withdraw further from external stimuli,
The world around you fading to a soft buzz in the background and your attention moving to a world inside.
Anchor with a breath into Mother Earth.
Anchor into Creator,
Into Truth,
Into soft breath.
Anchor into you.
You are a traveler on a journey through the cosmos.
You were born with a map inside of you and that map holds infinite wisdom,
Ancestral stories,
Impeccable inventions and eternal emotions.
This emerging path to self study is one where you will never be bored.
The cosmos live inside your consciousness and the metaphorical ticket required for this destination is a promise to yourself.
A promise for stillness,
A promise for rest.
Call forth into your mind's eye a version of you from the past that requires a little love,
A little healing might be hurting.
Allow surface distractions to settle.
And so the version of yourself you're looking for,
You might have had this person in mind already when you came into this meditation.
Or,
You know,
Yourself as a child might pop up or a certain experience in your teenage years,
Whatever the first thing to come to mind was.
You can sit with that for a moment.
How old is this person and what do they look like?
What clothes are they wearing?
Are they old enough to have makeup on or is their hairstyle a certain way?
Do you have a smell associated with this memory?
Maybe a hair product that smelled a certain way or perfume you wore or the meal that your mom cooked every day in grade 11?
Just find what that is for you.
Remember,
There's no wrong way to do this.
Everything that's happening here is happening exactly as it's supposed to.
And so still with this person,
This version of you in your mind's eye,
What do they feel like?
Maybe you can remember what it felt like to live in your body at that time.
Maybe they emit an energy.
Perhaps you were anxious during that time or maybe you were more calm then.
What emotion does this vision strike within you when you observe it?
What emotion does this version of you strike within your heart or your chest or your gut?
What do you feel?
We're going to address this person.
If this feels overwhelming at any time,
That's okay.
You can let my words,
Let the meditation fade to the background and just focus in the sound of your own breath.
So the words could be hard and I'd love for you to repeat out loud after me.
But maybe today you simply listen and another day you do the meditation,
You might whisper along.
And then someday you can do the meditation along with me and you can roar.
And so addressing this child or younger self or other version of you that you have pictured in your mind's eye,
Repeat after me.
You don't have to prove your worth here.
Simply by breathing and existing.
You are valuable on this earth.
Your value does not lie within outside accreditation.
That lies within your beautiful heart.
You are authentic.
You are seen.
You are loved now and always.
You are upright light that helps others to heal.
Your body is beautiful.
It is now.
It always has been.
It always will be.
You are a home for love and compassion.
You are intelligent and wise.
You do not need this validation from anyone but us.

With this version of you still floating in your mind's eye,
Visualize a ribbon of brilliant white light flowing toward their body.
Begin to wrap yourself in this shimmering ribbon.
Starting at the tip of your left middle finger,
Moving to the tip of your left middle finger on the other arm.
From the feet,
Wrapping the ankles and knees and thighs and up the pelvis,
Over the body,
Lightly through the hair.
This warm white light holds this version of you.
Your younger self is held safe,
Floating right here in front of your eyes,
Wrapped in warm radiant light.
And if it feels okay,
Once more,
Repeat after me.
I'm going to give you to the universe now.
Creator is going to hold you.
Here,
You'll always feel safe.
Held and loved unconditionally.
If you ever forget this,
It's no problem.
We can come back here,
Together,
For a reminder.
Rest now.
I love you.
And as you release yourself into the ether,
Also release any big muscles that are trying to hold on in this moment.
Your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Let it go.
Know that this shift has taken place on all timelines.
Envision yourself moving through a life,
Feeling held by the universe.
Allow that love to flood your body.
Now step into this reality where there is no restraint on the soul of your young self or any self in your timeline.
Emerge now,
A traveler returning from the landscape of inner child work,
Blessed with power to manifest and heal thyself.
Now you can start to allow yourself to ground back into your physical space,
Moving slowly.
