Welcome.

You can start by finding a comfortable seat.

If your preference is to lie down or even just listen while you're wandering about the house,

It's all okay.

Just being here,

Taking intentional breath is a perfect meditation.

No matter what you're doing on the other end of the headphones.

My name is Shannon.

I'm so happy to be here on my platform Joy.

I'm so excited to take you on this journey with me.

We'll start today with just a five minute reset.

Something quick that you can bring into your day.

Something that can bring your nervous system back down to a resting level,

To a level that feels safe and comfortable.

And then you can move through the rest of your day at ease.

So if you haven't already find that comfortable seat.

Start to tune into your breath.

Whatever that looks like for you.

Maybe it means putting your hands on your abdomen or chest.

Maybe you can feel the lungs expanding from the front of the chest as well as through the back.

Also into your sides.

As if your abdominal cavity,

Your chest was a barrel and you had to fill it.

The whole thing every time you took an inhale.

And clear it all out every time you exhale.

You can let that breath move into a little softness in the facial features.

Across the brow.

Down the bridge of the nose.

Let the eyeballs become heavy.

Roll back into sockets.

Let your lips and teeth hang open just a little.

So there's space between the teeth.

You can let the tongue rest in the bottom of your mouth.

This will just release everything through the jaw and even under the eyes.

So the skin on the face feels really heavy as if it could melt away from the bone structure.

That softness in the face as well as those nice smooth full breaths.

That'll translate into a little bit more ease into the neck and shoulders.

You might feel like your shoulders drop away from your ears a little.

Tune into any sensations that you might feel in the body.

Maybe a tingling.

Maybe your body is telling you to switch positions that's perfectly okay.

Maybe you feel like it's a little easier to take a fuller breath.

Just be here with whatever it is that's coming up for you.

Sometimes all it takes is just to step away and take a breath.

The tenseness of your day just wash away.

You can start to wiggle fingers and maybe your nose,

Facial features,

And have a big yawn and a stretch.

And head back into the rest of your day knowing that you took this time for yourself.

This is a win.

Celebrate this today.

Namaste.
