We will close our eyes,
We will feel how by closing our eyes we don't just make a technical gesture,
But an essential gesture of declaring that for some time we are willing to leave the world behind,
Willing to put everything that might trouble us behind for the sake of a deeper perspective.
So now what we will do is focus on the area of the solar plexus.
That of course includes a larger space,
But we can also focus on simply its center,
Which is a little bit below the lower center of the chest.
Perhaps we are already feeling this area.
And as we breathe into it,
We are starting to feel how the area of the solar plexus is like a soil,
Like a piece of earth,
Within which a sunflower is concealed still in a dormant,
Potent state.
And as we breathe into the solar plexus,
It is like the water and light needed for this sunflower to slowly come out,
Still in a closed state,
Still its petals closed,
But let's feel how it is slowly emerging from the earth of the solar plexus.
Facing the world.
And as it comes out of the earth,
The sunflower gathers with it all the internal energies of the solar plexus,
Pulling them out as well.
And now,
While the sunflower is still closed,
Let's shift our attention to a huge,
Burning sun,
That is somewhere in the distance,
In a sort of sky,
Facing directly the sunflower.
Let's feel the yellow,
Burning sun,
Dazzling with its light,
With its immense radiation.
Let's feel how this radiation reaches also the sunflower,
And slowly makes the sunflower respond and open up its petals.
And as the petals of the sunflower are fully open,
Let's feel how the sun and the sunflower interact.
How the sun is pouring into the sunflower,
Making it respond more and more with its own sunniness,
Sunny energy.
The more this happens,
The more the sunflower is filled with the energy of the sun,
Until it's slowly and gradually becoming a mini sun.
It may not be as big as the sun,
It may not be as burning as the sun,
It definitely shares the radiation.
The presence,
The essence.
Feel how the sunlight is pouring more and more into the sunflower,
Washing it with light.
Until essentially there is no difference between the sun that is in the distance and the sunflower that is emerging from your solar plexus.
It's just one flow of light.
Perhaps the sunflower is grown in size.
Perhaps you can no longer picture it as a sunflower but already as a sun.
And perhaps it is still a sunflower,
Fully containing the essence of the sun.
This makes the entire area of the solar plexus vibrating wide.
The space spreads to other parts of the body,
In the upward direction or downward direction.
Feel how every breath of yours is like.
It's pulling further waves of energy stored in the solar plexus and drawing more waves of energy from the sun.
So remaining with this new feeling we come out of the meditation,
Not out of the feeling.
Feel how we can keep glowing from within the center of the solar plexus.
If we feel that our sense of presence diminishes throughout the day,
We can always remind ourselves of the sunflower vision.
We can slowly open our eyes.
