This meditation is a tender space for those feeling deeply tired, emotionally flat, or disconnected from joy. It offers permission to pause, without needing to fix or figure anything out. Through gentle breath awareness and soft visualisation, you’ll be lovingly held in a space where rest is enough. There is nothing to do here — only space to breathe, soften, and be. Hi,

My name is Sue,

And I'm here with you exactly as you are.

If you're listening to this,

Perhaps you're feeling tired in more ways than one,

Burnt out,

Empty,

Lost in the fog.

This meditation is a place to pause,

A place to rest without needing to change a thing,

A space where you can be held gently,

Quietly,

Without pressure.

Get yourself comfortable,

Allow your body to feel supported and held,

There's nothing you need to do,

Nothing to fix,

Nothing to perform.

If it feels okay for you,

Gently close your eyes and bring your awareness to your breath.

Notice it,

Notice the inhale,

Notice the exhale,

Letting it move naturally,

No need to deepen it or direct it,

Just let it be.

If the breath feels faint,

That's okay,

If it feels stuck,

That's okay too.

You are allowed to feel exactly as you do.

Now imagine a gentle presence beginning to settle around you,

Like a blanket of light,

Quiet,

Nurturing and safe.

This light isn't here to energize you,

It's simply here to stay,

To be with you in your emptiness,

To hold you where words cannot reach.

Let it wrap around your shoulders,

Let it soften your jaw,

Let it warm the space around your heart.

You do not need to feel better,

You do not need to find joy,

You only need to breathe.

We'll rest here together for a while.

If thoughts arise,

Let them drift,

If feelings surface let them be,

No judgment,

No expectation,

Just presence.

Feel these words,

Maybe repeat them silently if they feel comforting.

I am allowed to rest,

Even in this emptiness I am still worthy,

And healing begins with gentleness.

Let the breath be your companion for a few more quiet moments,

Just inhaling and exhaling.

You are here and that is enough.

As this meditation draws to a close,

Take your time.

Notice the space around you,

Wiggle your fingers,

Your toes,

And feel your body resting on the earth beneath you.

When you're ready,

Bring your hand to your heart,

Whisper to yourself or just feel the truth of these words,

I am here,

That is enough.

This space will always be here for you,

And so will I.

Thank you for being here.

'Gentleness is the beginning of healing' So true! And with your help I and gentle guidance I tried to move a little bit more towards this attitude, towards my healing. Thank you again for your support. 🙏🫶
