Hello and welcome to this meditation for Earth Day.
This is a great meditation for the special day that many,
Many people around the world will be focusing on.
So there is this crucial time while everybody is focusing on Earth.
Where we can tap in and send some love and healing to this planet.
Allow your body to sink down.
Focus on your breath.
And allow whatever thoughts going on in your mind to float in and out.
See them like leaves floating down a river.
Each thought,
Feeling,
Emotion,
Whatever it is.
Floats into your awareness and you watch and observe as they float away.
Float out of your awareness.
Continue to breathe and follow your breath for a moment.
As it flows through your entire body.
Every cell,
Every atom are refreshed with every inhale.
With every exhale letting go of tension and stress.
Continue to breathe and feel yourself become more and more relaxed.
Take a moment to think about your connection with this planet.
The Earth provides us with food,
Air,
Water.
Everything we need to be alive and healthy.
Tap in and feel with each inhale and exhale as a balancing of life between you and the Earth.
Remember as you inhale you're taking in oxygen that trees from this Earth provide.
And as we exhale we are providing those trees with the carbon dioxide that they need to live.
Your breath is a balance between you and the Earth.
If it's safe to do so and you feel comfortable,
Close your eyes.
Imagine your world fades away as you go within.
Continue to breathe as you go deeper and deeper inside.
The further in you go the more space begins to open up around you.
See yourself go down,
Down and down.
Eventually a bright and comfortable light expands and wraps around you like a warm hug.
As it fades away it reveals a secluded area out in nature.
You see each color become more vivid.
Every breath from every life form around you begins to feel like your own.
You become one with everything around you.
Imagine your hearing and each one of your senses becoming more clear.
There is a feeling of love,
Peace and harmony that surrounds this place.
Breathe with full inhales and exhales.
Deep inhale and a deep exhale.
And visualize a strong energy from Earth flowing up and down your whole body.
You feel your energy becoming lighter and more clear.
Imagine this energy expands for miles up into the sky and then down into the Earth.
Feel yourself and the Earth sharing a nurturing love for one another.
A bright light flashes and you see yourself transported to a world where the Earth was healthy and beautiful and everyone did their part to care for it.
Our society,
Culture,
Economy,
Everything was done sustainably.
This helped to keep Mother Earth clean and healthy.
Another light flashes and you find yourself back in that secluded area.
Allow the energy to calm down.
And take a moment to conclude your time here.
When you're ready,
You feel yourself being called to walk down a path.
The further down you go,
The more your physical world and connection begins to return.
Finally,
You return fully back to your physical body.
Take a deep inhale,
Full inhale as all of your senses return right now.
Feel all of your awareness,
All of your consciousness fully returning here right now.
Take your time,
Begin to wiggle your toes and fingers,
Move your body,
Whatever helps you to reawaken.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes and return from the meditation.
