Perfect for moments when you’re feeling drained, scattered, or simply longing to reconnect with your own essence. In this gentle guided meditation, you’ll be invited to consciously call your energy back home to yourself. Within daily living, our energy naturally scatters, left behind in conversations, relations, stresses, or even places. With mindful breath and loving presence, you’ll gather your energy from the past, release what no longer serves, and feel yourself whole and centered again. This practice helps cultivate a sense of renewal, clarity, and agency, supporting you to move forward from a grounded, replenished place.

Hello,

My name is Courtney,

Also known as Self Care Creature,

And right now we are going to do a meditation for feeling into your own energy body.

Your own body,

Your own energy.

Go ahead and get settled.

Take a nice deep breath.

Find any little wiggles here that might feel good for you as you settle in.

No matter where you are seated,

You could be standing.

Lying down,

Just feel into the hips a little bit.

Feel into the feet.

Gently pressing through the crown,

Letting the shoulders roll back and down,

And beginning to take a couple of soft,

Full breaths right here.

Just noticing what's present.

And as you arrive right here in this space,

Committing to just be here for the next five minutes or so,

And as you settle,

I wonder,

Is it possible for the belly to expand with your inhales and that gentle release through the exhales?

And becoming gently,

Subtly aware of yourself,

Your own being right here.

Noticing the physical plane.

Taking a moment to notice the emotional body,

Any emotions present right here.

Noticing the mental chatter.

Does the mind come to rest easy in this space?

Does it have a narrative,

A judgment?

Is it a little wound up?

Just noticing.

And coming into that interpersonal space,

The spiritual space,

However that resonates for you,

Connecting to something bigger.

How does that connection feel at this time?

Taking a couple of breaths right there.

And I wanted to invite you to begin feeling into the threads of your own being,

And these may be threads that have extended out into the world where you give your love,

Energy,

Time,

Attention,

All of it.

Just feeling into those threads that extend out from your body,

Perhaps from your belly center or your low belly center,

Even the heart center.

These can be threads that you specifically are aware of,

Where they're going,

Who they're tethered to,

Or you can just,

In general,

Visualize these threads floating from your body like little tendrils out into the world,

Because that is the direction,

Typically,

That our energy flows from ourselves out into the world.

Just visualizing that,

Becoming aware of these threads from your body that have extended out into the world,

And breathe into that visualization and that noticing.

Noticing how each of these strings or threads feel.

Are they light?

Can you pluck them like a harp?

Do they feel wiry?

Are they a bit more taut or tight?

Just noticing.

Maybe there are colors that arise,

Continuing to breathe and noticing any sensations in the body.

And as you breathe,

Expanding belly,

Ribs,

Heart space with every inhale,

And that exhale gently releasing through the heart,

The ribs,

And the low belly.

I want to give you just a few moments here to continue to notice and be with your own energy.

What does it feel like to be you right here,

Right now,

In this moment?

Just beginning to take note of yourself,

Cultivating that inner relationship.

Still breathing fully here,

Releasing the jaw and the tongue,

If possible.

And then slowly,

I invite you to begin imagining these threads that have been extended out into the world,

Gently coming back into your body.

Maybe they just gently come right back into your body.

Maybe they come back towards your body and wrap around your body and move with the fibers of your muscles or your own energy field.

However,

It resonates to imagine these threads coming back to you,

Becoming a part of you once again.

And I wonder if it's possible to envision yourself reabsorbing your own vitality as these threads come back to you.

And really breathing into the strength of your own center here,

The softness,

The quietude.

My hope for you is that in feeling into and knowing your own energy and your own domain,

That you may begin to explore and put forth the highest intentions and integrity towards all of your relations.

Knowing that relations are a balancing act and a fast track to evolving consciousness as well as personal power and being in relationship with others and community,

All our relations,

That is also very challenging because of what it can bring up within us.

Which is why it can be so important to take these moments of just noticing,

Of just being in your own domain,

Your own energy field and calling,

Pulling,

Inviting your energy back to yourself.

Let's close this practice with three full breaths.

Nice big inhale in the belly,

The ribs,

Heart space,

Even the back of the heart space.

And exhale back,

Heart,

Ribs,

Low belly,

All the way out.

Two more full breaths.

Nice big inhale,

Expanding,

Holding at the top for one moment.

If you can,

And then release.

One more full breath,

Just like that.

Invite you to place a hand on your own heart for a moment and just give thanks.

Thanks to yourself for showing up,

Taking the time to get to know yourself better.

Our world needs it.

Cheers,

Friend.
