Hello everyone!

My name is Ananda Nelson and this is Seated Sessions.

Today's meditation is really revolving around the theme of what's good about today.

So really celebrating the minuscule and massive miracles that are unfolding and occurring in your life,

In the life that exists around you,

Just to really shift that perception if you've been perhaps a bit more in the gloom,

Perhaps feeling like there's no hope,

Feeling a bit down about life,

Just reconnecting to what's good.

And it's not to dismiss the pain or suffering that you may be experiencing,

But to also bring forth more awareness into what's good,

What's good about today.

So when you're ready,

Simply closing your eyes or looking down at the floor,

Whatever is most comfortable for you,

Allowing your feet to sink into the ground beneath you if you're sitting straight up.

And sit with intention,

So sitting up like you matter,

Holding yourself up,

Not out of force,

But out of this acknowledgement that you are here and alive today on purpose.

Allowing your body to become comfortable,

Simply allowing the shoulders to rest.

Notice if there's ping pong energy in your body,

Simply acknowledging it,

Giving it the direction that it can dissipate to return back into a more grounded,

Connected state,

Our most natural state of being,

Which we have forgotten how to return to or tap into.

Just beginning to prepare yourself mentally,

Emotionally,

Spiritually,

Physically,

And energetically to be this space where miracles occur in your life,

Left and right.

And even if things may seem to be falling apart in your world,

There's no stopping the unfoldment of that with the hope and intent that there's new ground and new earth underneath whatever's being shattered.

But returning to the question,

What's good about today?

You woke up breathing,

You were able to get out of bed,

Hopefully.

You're able to use most of your body parts if not all with effortless ease.

You're in a home,

Intending that each and every one of you listening to this are safe,

Physically,

Emotionally,

And mentally,

Spiritually.

The sun is shining outside our most potent source of pure light.

And if only you could be at eye level with the earth,

Watching nature run its course,

Watching bees buzz and flowers bloom or grow.

And we always miss it,

Even to watch the droplet of rain bounce off of a leaf of grass.

But in a more realistic sense,

What's good about today?

Those in your life that you appreciate,

Those in your life that allow you to feel like you are not alone.

What's good about today?

What are you creating or birthing in your life,

Projects,

Creations?

What's good about today?

Hopefully you get to receive a smile from a stranger who wishes you well without having to say a word.

Hopefully you see someone who strikes a chord with you.

You wish them blessings,

Even though they may never see your face.

Who's the angel in your life today?

How have they gone outside of themselves to be available to support you?

Who can you be the angel to?

Who's struggling in your life that could use just a simple acknowledgement that you see them?

What's good about today?

Ponder this question in a contemplative manner.

This is not for you to analyze or search.

We often forget the privilege of being alive and knowing that if you don't like your life,

You have the opportunity to change it.

So if you can,

Just placing one hand or both hands up over your heart and I want you to ask yourself just quietly in your mind,

What are the minuscule miracles happening around me?

Let that divine intuition move through you,

That divine genius.

What are the minuscule miracles happening around you?

Ask yourself,

Remembering and acknowledging that even the seemingly minuscule miracles are interwoven and connect to the massive miracles,

To the breakthrough,

To the healing,

To the burst of joy.

And perhaps asking yourself,

What has been one of the massive miracles of my life?

Whether recent or long,

Long ago,

What's the first thing that comes to mind?

One of the massive miracles in my life.

How does it influence or impact me to this day,

To this moment?

And I have perhaps fallen out of touch with its sacredness to me.

Massive miracles occur daily for certain people,

Different people,

But minuscule miracles happen every moment of every day.

And again,

Not to discount the pain or the suffering,

The bad,

But knowing that God,

The divine moves,

Even when things seem like they're not moving,

Earth never stops turning.

And the more that we can get out of the way,

The more beauty can unfold within ourselves to directly change the way we live our lives.

If any of you listening to this are on the path of sobriety,

Whether that be drugs and alcohol,

Sex,

Gambling,

Sugar,

Any kind of addictive behavior,

Any kind of toxic pattern that you are recovering from,

Every day is a miracle of celebration that you don't return into those habits that are so destructive.

Even if you aren't where you want to be long-term,

Every day of the journey counts.

How will you make today an integral part of your journey in growth?

Celebrating even the smallest milestones keeps life playful,

Keeps you inspired.

Also keeps you committed.

So just take a few minutes,

A few moments to ponder,

Contemplate quietly what's good about today.

Also remembering there's things that you can't yet see or understand.

Why are things working out anyway?

Rest in that.

If you get distracted,

Come back.

Breathe and taking just a gentle breath.

Also being with the question,

Even if you need to be a part of the mundaneness of life,

How can you bring more joy and connection to those tasks?

How can you meet every person that you meet or encounter today?

Witnessing them as a child of God,

Acknowledging them like their existence does matter and remembering too that one of the most massive miracles that we often forget is that we were designed to heal when under the right conditions.

Right now you are contributing to better conditions of your mind,

Your heart,

Body,

And spirit.

A massive miracle,

At least for me,

Is being divinely guided everywhere that I go.

Perhaps ask yourself what one of your massive miracles are,

Something you're so grateful for.

And more and more as you feel ready,

Slowly bringing your body back to its full awareness,

Allowing the body and the mind to continue to be still as you re-enter the room you are in,

Adjusting to it with these new eyes,

Seeing the good,

Seeing what also might need simple correction to be good.

There's no worries.

There's always room for correction.

So things may flow with organic harmony as they were designed to.

Perhaps keep this question in your mind for the rest of the day.

What's good about today?

What's good about this moment?

What's good about this situation?

And even if it seems like it's going in a direction that you wouldn't prefer,

Allow the plan to unfold before you.

It's always better.

Know that I'm so grateful that each of you are listening in here.

And carry this message wherever else that it might be needed.
