Happy day everyone!

This is Ananda Nelson and this is Seated Sessions.

So this meditation is really going to be focusing in on us really rising and meeting and greeting the day.

So you know this is a morning meditation but really coming in with the energy that we are truly rising up,

Right?

We're rising up from bed,

We're rising from our asleep state back into the waking state.

Some might say that every morning we have the chance to be reborn,

That every single night we go through that cycle of light and dark.

So it's really allowing yourself to meet the opportunities of today,

Really inviting the energy of what today has to offer as each and every day is full of something uniquely different.

And sometimes we get into the mundane routine of things but when we can be conscious and really invitational to what beauty and magic today holds that can really change our perspective and experience of the day.

So my biggest request is wherever that you are,

Whether seated or lying down,

Just go ahead and take a deep breath in through your nose if you can,

Fully letting go,

Closing or resting your eyes if you haven't done so already.

And on your next inhale,

Breathing in gently but breathing in the energy of today and letting go.

On this next inhale,

I want you to envision that you are breathing in the light from the sun.

So wherever that the sun may rise where you live,

Breathing in that essence,

That beauty,

That radiant golden light in through your nose and letting go,

Allowing your body to be invigorated with this little bit of a buzz,

Allowing your body to be awake yet calm,

Allowing your feet and your hands to relax,

Allowing your heart to just be with this present stillness,

Allowing your mind to be here this time of day is really beautiful to reflect,

To create.

Nothing else that is occurring later today needs your attention right now and just slowly beginning to tune into the essence of your soul,

Your spirit and perhaps you felt a little groggy upon waking up or not fully in your body,

Invite all the parts of you wherever that they might have traveled during your rest to come back to your body,

Calling back your full consciousness now,

Inviting the highest source of creation,

God,

Creator,

Highest divine spirit into the space,

Inviting this precious highest holiest wisdom into your heart,

Into your mind and just quietly to yourself in your mind,

Ask yourself what does the energy of today offer for me?

What does the energy of the day offer for me?

For some this could be an exciting invigorating day,

For those it could be an internal rest day see what the energy of today calls for and also quietly to yourself just ask deep in your heart how can I live today a bit more than I did yesterday?

How can I be present,

Engaged,

Connected to myself and others?

What good can I do today?

And just let all of those stirrings of information just move through you and taking just a minute or so in the quiet,

In the stillness staying connected to the energy of the day,

The intent of the day and just breathe just taking a nice gentle deep breath wherever you are notice if you can expand your lungs a little bit more,

The more capacity to breathe the more capacity for life.

Breath is what keeps us alive and connected and how often do we stray from being aware of our breath?

We breathe slow,

Breathe choppy,

Let that breath be consistent regulating the nervous system and if you can just bring one hand or both hands up over your heart whether over your chest or just in a prayer position connecting with that beautiful vast spaciousness and just quietly in your mind,

In your heart in your being ask yourself who do I get to be today?

How can I serve today?

Those close to me and those whom I may never see again,

Receiving and allowing that in and just at your own pace envisioning that golden light of the sun from the sunrise gleaming in through your whole body all the way up from the top of your head all the way down all the way down through your face through your neck your chest and belly through your pelvis and legs down to your feet through your whole auric field releasing anything you might have been holding from yesterday and then when you're ready taking one more deep but yet grounding breath and just slowly coming back into your body in the room and space you are in and as you prepare to open your eyes being intentional that you are opening them with new possibility,

New excitement and inspiration so when you do feel ready just open your eyes give gratitude to yourself for showing up right now so that you may show up better in your life in all areas my wish and intent is that you all have a insanely beautiful harmonious day and for those of you who do drink coffee please eat breakfast prior do your body a service and don't just shoot it right into its adrenaline mode and for all the ways you may live today just be present and curious through it all all is well
