Welcome to the I Am,

You Are,

We Are,

Enough Teacher Meditation.

This meditation is geared toward setting our teachers,

Our beautiful public servants,

Off to an incredible day,

An incredible start of your week,

Of your year,

With intention,

Connected in with the heart,

So that you can serve in the highest possible way.

Today we're going to release yesterday from the day before,

The week before,

The year before,

And we're going to move forward with a fresh start.

So I'm going to invite you first to get as comfortable in your seat as you possibly can,

Trying not to slouch,

Trying to keep the spine nice and straight,

From the seat up to the ground of the head,

Both feet firmly planted on the ground,

But if you must be reclining to get into a nice meditative state,

Maybe crossing the legs,

Placing the hands to wherever feels comfortable,

Rolling the shoulders back,

Relaxing those shoulders,

Noticing any tension or tightness in the neck,

In the shoulders,

And especially in the jaw,

Stretching it out,

Opening the mouth,

Maybe even giving a nice big yawn,

And taking a nice big sigh breath in through the nose,

And out of the mouth,

And on the next in-out breath,

Straightening up your spine a little bit more,

And imagining as you straighten yourself out,

That you're also shaking off that old energy that we don't want to take forward today,

Breathing nice and deep,

Cleansing your breath in through the nose,

Out of the mouth,

Nice and grounded into your seat.

Before we release yesterday,

The month before,

The year before,

We'll give it our attention.

I want you to call forward anything that didn't feel good yesterday,

Anything that didn't feel good last week,

Or sometime last year.

Things need release,

Just like the rest of us.

Sometimes we don't have that safe space,

But our breath is always the safe space to give over the worries,

The woes of yesterday,

And release them.

Right now,

You're going to imagine that you can gather up all the discomfort,

The frustrations,

The unwanted energies,

Even conversations replaying in the mind from days ago,

From months,

Weeks,

Years past.

Gathering it up with a big,

Deep breath,

Feeling it,

Gurgling inside,

And then you're going to just breathe it out nice and big again,

Out of the mouth,

Letting it go.

I want you to imagine if you were equipped differently,

If you had a different level of awareness,

Or power,

Or tools to handle situations that didn't go as you would have liked them to in the past,

But now moving forward,

You've learned so much,

And you have new tools.

We're going to equip you today with some tools for moving forward and leaving the past in the past,

And aligning yourself with the highest possible outcome in every given situation.

This starts with you.

Imagining now that you could place both hands over your heart,

And you could make a decision that you want to move forward from the heart.

You want to call in peaceful resolution of all situations that could arise,

But more than that,

You want to call in positive,

Enlightening,

Fulfilling,

Nurturing relationships,

Events,

Encounters,

Moments amongst your peers,

Your colleagues,

Your seniors,

And your students.

Try to imagine now yourself walking through your day filled with so much light that it feels as if you're glowing,

Radiating from within,

And everyone can see and feel it around you.

You don't have to do anything more,

You don't have to prove anything,

You don't have to meet any higher standards,

You are enough.

Your light,

Your presence,

Everything that you are,

Every unique aspect of who you are and what you bring to this school is enough.

Settle into that,

Breathe that in,

And start to imagine that everywhere you go inside of that school,

Your workplace,

You're spreading trails of light all around.

You're attracting in the sweetest,

Most beautiful encounters amongst everyone you come into contact with.

Everything goes smoothly,

Your day just flows,

And at the close of the day,

Just as you would closing a chapter in a book,

You feel satisfied,

You feel complete,

You feel fulfilled,

You check out for the day,

You go home,

Ready for another day,

After an evening,

Loving life as you live it.

You feel balanced,

You feel whole,

You feel enough.

And with that,

We're going to set the intention that today be all of that and more.

That you feel the light all around you,

That you feel the connection to your peers,

The camaraderie,

The love,

That you know that you have support and that you can be of support as well,

That you know that you are valued,

That you are loved,

That you are appreciated for all that you do for your community,

For your school.

Thank you for your service.

Take a moment to thank yourself for showing up every day,

Taking a nice big breath,

Setting any final intentions for your day,

Imagining yourself sending those intentions out ahead of you to flow through your day.

And with that,

You'll bring your attention completely back to your body in the present moment,

Grounded into the present moment,

Feeling your feet on the ground,

Feeling your body nice and relaxed and keeping it there,

Remembering your breath when that tension tries to creep back in,

You'll take a nice big inhale,

A nice big exhale,

And you'll let it drift away,

Wishing you the most beautiful,

Light-filled day,

Knowing that everything you do,

You are enough,

And goodbye.
