Hello and welcome to this practice session for Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra.
This session assumes that we've done some work together before.
And so this is strictly a recitation practice.
I won't go into the history or details of the mantra.
But there are other videos or live sessions that we can join together for a deeper dive in the history and science of mantra.
So let's Just find a comfortable seat to begin.
Sitting up tall.
Relaxed through the body.
Breathing through the nose.
And keeping an open mind as we move into this.
Call-and-response recitation.
I'll recite one word,
You respond it back.

We'll go word by word.
We'll go line by line.
We'll move into the full mantra,
The four lines of this mantra.

Awareness inward.
Body relaxed.
When you're ready to release out of the practice,
You might bring hands together at heart center,
Gently bowing the head.
Take a few breaths here.
You can rub your palms.
Generate some heat into the palms.
Cover your eyes.
Allow the warmth to nourish the eyes.
Open the eyes into the palms.
Release the hands when you're ready.
