This is a slightly longer version of something I produced a year or so ago. It's been played a lot on Insight Timer, and by far the most common request in comments was for a longer version. The purpose of this track was to be a very brief meditation to check in during the day, let go, and Simply Be. The first was under two minutes long. This one runs for 4.17 and so for those who wanted a little more, whilst still having the short 'do-able' mindfulness reminder during a busy day, I hope that this is helpful.

Take a moment to simply be.

Step back from the thoughts in your head and simply be.

Step away from your tendency to plan,

To schedule and simply be.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Hold it and release your breath.

And with it,

Release the tension that is building up in your body.

Take a moment to step back from your anxieties and your fears and simply be.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Hold it and release the breath.

And with it,

Release your fears,

Your concerns,

Your anxieties and simply be.

Take a moment to step back from the physical sensations in your body,

Discomfort,

Pain,

Aches and simply be.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Hold it and release the breath.

And with it,

The tension,

The aches,

The discomfort in your body and simply be.

Take a moment to focus.

Not on tomorrow,

Not on yesterday,

Not on where you will be in five minutes from now,

But on now,

On the flow of breath into and out of your body and rest peacefully in this moment of simply being.
