Transcript

Begin by settling in as you find a comfortable position.

Close your eyes or have a soft gaze on a non movable object.

Begin to follow the rhythm of your breath,

Allowing thoughts to drift through,

Releasing any attachment to thoughts and concerns.

Slowly inhaling,

Counting 1,

2,

3,

4.

Exhaling even more slowly.

Begin to scan your body for any places in need of relaxing.

Using your breath as you relax your forehead,

Your jaw,

Your shoulders,

Your arms.

Feel the heaviness of your hands,

Your fingers.

Continue to release each part of your body until you no longer sense any tension.

Using your mind's eye,

Observe yourself sitting where you are,

As if you are floating above gazing down.

Take in the entire room from a bird's eye perspective.

Allow yourself to move further and further away through the ceiling,

Above the roof,

Gazing down,

Notice the building or space all around you.

Continuing to float upwards,

Take in the whole city or countryside around you.

Seeing your country and the surrounding countries,

Allow yourself to ascend further and further into space.

As you do,

Look around you,

Observing the universe encompassing you as you are floating.

Notice the peacefulness,

Quietness unlike anything you've experienced.

Notice the stars,

The planets,

The vastness of the universe.

Searching,

You observe our planet,

How peaceful it looks.

Become aware of the deep blues of the oceans,

The richness of the land formations,

The cotton-like clouds hovering around it.

Take it all in.

Realize you too are a part of this beautiful place.

You too can contribute to the good of the planet.

Your mere existence is vital to the health and well-being of all.

Stay in this space as long as you need to.

Allow it to wash over you.

Allow it to bring you a fresh new perspective of the interconnectedness of all.

You too can contribute to the good of the planet.

Slowly begin to descend to Earth.

Floating gently as your country is coming into view.

Notice the area you are currently in.

Find yourself floating in the room or space above you.

Take in how peaceful you look,

Completing the descent into your physical form once again.

Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Focus on your breath.

Feel the rise and fall of the abdomen and chest with every inhale and exhale.

Take a few moments to ponder how significant you really are.

You feel empowered to make a difference in your lifetime.

Know this sense of peace is within you at all times.

Simply tap into it at any moment.

When you are ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

See life from a new perspective.
