My name is Saskia and I'll be your guide on this journey.
Sink into your body.
Go inside of yourself.
Instead of worrying about other people or work,
Things you have to do,
Just close your eyes and look the other way.
Look within yourself and just breathe.
Breathe as deep as you can through your nose and let everything go out your mouth.
As deep as you can through your nose,
Releasing everything out of your mouth and feel how this brings you back to yourself.
How this simple breathing slows everything down.
And just return to your normal breath.
Place all your attention there on the simple act of breathing in and breathing out.
There is great power in stillness.
There is great power in stopping,
In doing nothing.
So let go of everything else and just be here now.
The quiet can be uncomfortable for many of us but silence is beautiful.
Silence is the in-between moments where we get to just let go.
It's the moments like these,
The moments when we give ourselves permission to stop.
Those are the moments when we come home to ourselves.
We're not giving,
Doing,
Not thinking,
We're just being.
You give yourself permission to just be,
That's when you come home to yourself.
How does it feel to stop?
How does it feel in your body?
Are you relaxed?
Are you content?
Perhaps you're agitated,
Perhaps this feels uncomfortable.
There's no wrong or right way to be,
So just accept whatever is there for you.
Remember to breathe.
We're usually so busy doing,
Thinking,
Chasing,
Running,
Avoiding,
Numbing,
That we forget to just breathe and to give ourselves permission to be in the silence.
So just breathe and be in the silence.
Giving yourself silence is the way you recharge your soul.
Right now,
In this very moment,
You are recharging your soul.
You're doing something good and kind for yourself.
You're nurturing yourself.
You're loving yourself.
Simply by giving yourself permission to stop and just breathe.
If you ever feel like you're losing your way,
If you ever feel like you're breaking inside,
If you ever feel alone,
Afraid,
Confused,
Remember,
Remember to come home to yourself.
To come home to yourself by simply slowing down and turning your gaze from outside of yourself to inside of yourself.
And from that place,
Just breathe.
Follow the breath in through your nose and out through your nose or in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Whatever feels right for you,
Just be there.
Allow yourself to stay there.
Nowhere to go,
Nothing to do.
Just breathe.
Remember,
You can always come home to yourself.
You'll always be there for yourself.
All you have to do is slow down and connect.
