Welcome to a mantra meditation that can help you find more calm,
Help you ease anything that you're gripping onto,
Or anything that you're feeling difficult to surrender right now.
So as you come to sit or lay down,
I want you to see if you can lift your back nice and tall.
And as you lift your back tall,
Open up your heart to receive.
Let your palms face down or up on your thighs.
And if you'd like,
You can connect your thumb and your index finger together.
Feel your spine lengthen from the earth to the sky and let your crown drop back and up.
Take a deep breath into your whole body through your nose and down and exhale out and up through your nose.
As you inhale,
Feel your shoulders drop back.
As you exhale,
Soften through your belly,
Your chest,
And your ribs.
As you inhale,
Soften the muscles of your face.
And as you exhale,
Allow the weight of the hips to drop down.
Take a few deep breaths together in through the nose on the inhale and out through the nose on the exhale.
In through the nose and out through the nose.
In through the nose and out through the nose.
And just turn your attention to the gentle rise and fall of your breath as you step into your body.
I invite you to repeat internally or out loud.
I trust the process of life and I surrender to the unknown.
I trust the process of life and I surrender to the unknown.
I trust the process of life and I surrender to the unknown.
I trust the process of life and I surrender to the unknown.
I trust the process of life and I surrender to the unknown.
To the unknown.
I trust the process of life and I surrender to the unknown.
Now repeat it in your mind or out loud on your own.
I trust the process of life and I surrender to the unknown.
And now gently as you repeat it one more time,
I trust the process of life and I surrender to the unknown.
See all that mantra close to your center and take a deep breath in with me and exhale let it go.
Deep breath in and exhale let it go.
Pain to slowly open your eyes if they were closed or tune into your surroundings.
Wiggle your fingers and stretch your legs out.
Know that you can return to this mantra to help you center back in on that trust and to help you surrender that which you have no control over.
So as you step into that space of trust,
That space of surrender,
You allow anything negative,
Anything heavy,
Anything weighing you down to dissipate for the time being because worrying doesn't necessarily change the future.
Knowing how to find your calm is easing stress in your body.
It's managing your health and it's ensuring that you put you and your mental health first.
