Today we embark on a beautiful journey to meet your special spirit animal.
In life we have many guides,
Including animal guides.
It is likely that you have more than one spirit animal.
Some appear for specific reasons at specific times.
Animals in general are natural healers and helpers.
They love easily and live from the heart.
They are selfless and open.
Throughout history humans held deep and lasting relationships with animals and also understood that each animal family had unique attributes and messages to offer humanity.
When you connect to a spirit animal you are connecting to the spirit of all those animals that exist,
Past,
Present,
And future.
A spirit animal relationship can go both ways.
You can also connect with,
Offer healing,
And give back to the spirit animal in any way that feels natural and intuitive to you.
We will begin by getting into a very comfortable cozy position.
You may be seated in a chair,
On the floor,
Or laying down.
Make sure you find a place where you will not be disturbed for the duration of this guided journey.
We will be journeying inward so if you'd like a blanket or an eye pillow please feel free.
Take your time getting comfortable.
When you're ready close your eyes.
Start to bring your attention to your breath taking nice deep inhales and exhales.
As you breathe turn your attention completely inwards.
Allow any ties to the outside world to gently fall away.
Breathing deeply allow your eyeballs and eyelids to soften and relax.
Imagine that your vision is going inwards towards the very inner core of yourself.
Breathing deeply allow your ears to feel soft and relaxed.
Imagine that your hearing is going inwards towards the very inner core of yourself.
Pull your energy completely inwards towards the very inner core of yourself.
Leave the outside world behind for the next little while.
It will be there when you return.
For now give yourself the gift of complete presence.
Allow yourself to bask in and enjoy this time which is just for you.
However you are sitting or laying feel your whole body settle into the ground grounding and connecting deeply with the earth.
Allow yourself to feel completely supported by the earth.
On your next exhale send any residual tension in your body down into the earth.
Inhale deeply and with your exhale send any tension or tightness in your body down into the earth.
Do this breathing pattern a few more times inhaling deeply and sending any tension down,
Down into the earth.
Allow the earth to hold you to support you.
Now we will begin our journey breathing deeply envision in your mind's eye a beautiful serene place in nature.
Somewhere you feel safe and comfortable.
It could be a forest,
A meadow,
The beach,
A mountain valley,
Anywhere in nature that appears to you and which feels safe and beautiful.
Look around this nature space.
What does it feel like?
What does it look like?
Is it daytime,
Dusk,
Nighttime?
Is there breeze warm or cool?
Is there water?
Are there trees,
Plants,
Flowers?
Take your time as you envision and populate your beautiful safe nature space.
Simply envision it as a complete landscape in your mind.
Now see yourself seated in this beautiful nature scape.
Feel yourself seated in a soft place directly on the earth.
As you sit you take in the beauty of this natural setting you found yourself in.
Breathing deeply you can feel your body and entire self at home here safe and comfortable.
As you breathe the earth and the place breathes with you.
The breeze flows with your breath.
You become an integral part of this landscape.
You and the landscape are one.
Now take a few deep breaths into your heart space,
Your upper chest,
Feeling the heart soften and expand with each inhalation.
You may put one hand on your heart if you like and continue to breathe deeply as you inhale expanding and softening your heart space.
Now from this heart centered space you will invite your spirit animal to come to you to visit with you in this beautiful nature scape that you can see in your mind's eye.
Breathing deeply into your heart space say to yourself silently or out loud,
I welcome my animal guide.
Feel yourself open,
Feel yourself receptive to whatever comes to you.
You will see an animal guide appear in front of you walking,
Running,
Swimming or flying in from the beyond.
Watch as the animal comes closer and closer to you.
You can feel the energy of the animal's heart connecting with the energy of your heart.
With this natural instant connection you welcome the animal into your space where you are seated in the beautiful natural landscape.
Now is your opportunity to connect and communicate with your spirit animal who has come to share space with you,
To converse,
To offer guidance and messages and simply to get to know you.
Breathing deeply take the next few minutes to connect to your animal guide who has come for the specific special purpose of connecting with you.
Be creative,
You may ask questions,
Talk or just receive.
If you find yourself at a loss simply take some deep breaths into your heart space and reconnect with the heart of your animal guide.
Allow your intuition and open heart to lead this exchange.
For this You You You You You You I Watch as your spirit animal walks runs flies or swims away And take a few moments to again breathe deeply into your heart space Inhaling up to your upper chest breathing into the heart space Notice any sensations that arise there just observing as you breathe into the heart Now you see your beautiful nature space around you feel yourself connected again to that space a part of that space Knowing that you can return to this lovely place anytime you want to reconnect with your spirit animal Or with the beautiful grounding energy of nature Now we will slowly return to our physical space Take some time to get back to your spirit animal Now we will slowly return to our physical space Take some deep cleansing breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth Inhale in through the nose and sigh deeply out the mouth on the exhale Do this three more times inhaling through the nose,
Sighing,
Exhaling out the mouth Inhaling through the nose,
Sighing out the mouth Inhaling through the nose,
Sighing,
Exhaling out the mouth Now feel your body in your physical space and breathing deeply Take a few moments to reflect on your experience Any sensations,
Visuals or messages that came through to you Start to make some subtle movements with your body returning to your physical space Allow yourself to stretch and get up slowly When you return to your day or evening,
Please take some time for self care and relaxation Allow yourself to continue to feel and absorb this experience with your spirit animal Move slowly and deliberately,
Eat a nourishing meal,
Take a therapeutic candlelit bath Your spirit animal wants you to take care of yourself Blessings on your journey and may you connect with the world in many deep heartfelt ways Namaste
