Welcome to this meditation called Ease Your Period,
Day One.
Celebrate Your Divine Feminine.
I'm Sarasena Croce,
And I'll guide you through this practice today.
This meditation is part of a course called Five Things to Avoid and Five Rituals for When You Have Your Period.

Go ahead and find a comfortable position where you can relax and focus.
And then gently close your eyes if that feels safe.
And start to connect with your breath.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Hold it for a moment.
And exhale slowly through your mouth.
Do that again.
In through the nose.
Hold it.
And exhale through your mouth.
Do a few rounds on your own.
And allow yourself to release any tension.
With each breath out.
Continue breathing deeply.
Inhaling through your nose.
And exhaling through your mouth.
And now bring your attention to the top of your head.
Your crown chakra.
And begin to visualize a warm,
Pure light.
Beginning to flow down from above.
This divine light gently embraces your entire being.
Feel it touching your mind.
Quieting your thoughts.
And then moving down through your face.
Relaxing your eyes.
Jaw.
And mouth.
Let this light continue its journey down your neck and shoulders.
Soothing any tension.
And creating a profound sense of peace.
As the light flows further down your body.
It gathers in your pelvis.
Imagine this warm,
Healing light pooling in this area.
Soothing any discomfort.
And gently easing menstrual cramps or tension.
Feel the light's comforting presence.
Nurturing your body.
Wrapping you in a cocoon of softness and calm.
Now let the light continue to flow down.
Through your legs.
Reaching all the way down to your toes.
As it moves.
Feel a deep connection to the earth.
Grounding you further into the present moment.
Now lift your awareness above your body.
Floating in a space of serene detachment.
Observe your body with acceptance and love.
In this space of profound relaxation.
Feel a sense of connection.
To all the women on earth.
Both present.
And from the past.
In this space of deep relaxation.
Visualize a tapestry of light.
Stretching across the globe.
Connecting you to all the women on earth.
Picture this tapestry as a shimmering web of shared experiences.
Wisdom.
And strength.
See it linking you not only to those living today.
But also to women from all eras.
Those who walked the earth before you.
And those who will come after.
Feel this inner connectedness.
As a warm.
Vibrant current.
Blowing through the tapestry.
Imagine it weaving through ancient history.
Connecting with the strength of women who have faced challenges.
And celebrated victories throughout time.
Envision the supportive presence of these women surrounding you.
Their collective energy offering you comfort and solidarity.
As you visualize this connection.
Also bring to mind the Divine Mother and the Moon.
Imagine the Moon's soft,
Silvery glow.
Joining this web of light.
Adding its calming,
Cyclical rhythm to your sense of unity.
Feel the Divine Mother's nurturing embrace.
Infusing the tapestry with unconditional love and support.
Let this imagery fill you with a deep sense of belonging and connection.
And allow the energy of all these women.
Past and present.
Blow into you.
Reinforcing your own strength and serenity.
Embrace the feeling of being part of a larger,
Timeless community of women.
Each contributing to a shared legacy of empowerment and grace.
Rest here now for a few more moments.
Fully immersed in this collective energy and connection.
And just enjoy this moment of deep rest and relaxation.
In your own personal inner sanctuary.
A place where you go to feel your true self.
Secure.
Grounded.
And a deep sense of peace.
And inner love for yourself.
And all of life around you.
And now bring your awareness back to your breath.
And just allow your body to breathe for you.
With no effort whatsoever.
And when you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
And return to the present moment.
Carrying with you the warmth,
Support,
And unity of this profound connection.
And the deep knowing that you're not alone with your discomfort.
