Welcome to another guided meditation.

Today or rather tonight,

Let's focus on how sweet sleep can be.

Coming home to your bubble of safety,

Made up so comfortably in your cocoon of peace.

Wrap yourself up and find your most comfortable position.

You can do it in any way,

In giving permission for you to be the most comfortable you might ever be.

Just 5% more comfortable.

Just 5% more calm.

You find yourself with heavy eyes,

Ready to close them.

And release into the darkness that cradles you so safely and peacefully.

Release all worrying and planning.

Release the responsibilities of the day that has now passed.

Cleansing any last remnants of the day away,

Knowing that anything of importance will be patiently waiting for you when you wake.

But for now,

All that you have done is enough and it's time to rest.

Become aware of your breath,

How it's moving through your body,

And what physical sensations let you know that you are breathing.

Without much effort,

Draw your exhales out a little longer than your inhalations.

Inhale for the count of 4.

3,

2,

1 and exhale.

4,

3,

2,

1.

Hold,

Hold,

Inhale.

4,

3,

2,

1.

Exhale.

4,

3,

2,

1.

Hold,

Hold,

Inhale.

4,

3,

2,

1.

Exhale.

4,

3,

2,

1.

Hold,

Hold.

Now return to your own natural flow.

Inviting all the stillness and quiet that surrounds you to become the quiet and stillness that's in you.

As you inhale,

Bring this quiet,

Peaceful space into your heart.

Breathing in the cool,

Comforting air.

And as you exhale,

Releasing just a little deeper.

Surrendering a little more with each exhale.

Becoming one with peace.

And releasing deeper still.

Deeper still.

All that I have done today is enough.

I give myself permission to rest.

Surrendering in your sweet bubble of safety.

It's so safe here.

I am so supported.

I am so ready to rest.

Focusing on the stillness that is growing within you.

Letting your heart beat.

Let it be the rhythm to you drifting up into the most peaceful land.

Sweet,

Sweet,

Sweet sleep now surrounds you.

Sweet sleep now becomes you.

How beautiful this feels.

How long you wait.

For such a deep and rejuvenating rest.

Good night,

My friend.

A really sweet meditation I did with my daughter where at 12 she even felt she hadn’t done “Enough” today. Though we had spent the day together and that was special, enough. 🙏
