After a long day, stress can build up and without proper release, can lead into the next day. Over time this pattern of stress can cause ailments and diseases. This meditation aids in releasing stress and prepares the body for restful sleep. Begin by bringing awareness to the breath and emotional body, then lean into the "H-A" breathing technique to release tension and detox the body. Follow along, rest back, and allow all the stress to melt away.

Music Welcome to the daily stress release ritual.

I invite you to find a comfortable seat or lying down position,

Whatever calls to you.

Feeling the surface beneath your body.

Allow yourself to melt into it.

You are safe and healthy.

Begin to notice all feelings and sensation within the body.

Notice your mood and how you're showing up tonight.

Creating space for the emotional body.

Bring awareness to the breath.

Without changing anything.

Just notice how the breath is naturally entering and exiting the body.

No judgement.

Begin to slow your breathing.

Begin and slow the air enters.

Drown out and lingering.

The air escapes.

Allowing this flow of intake and give.

To become a powerful tool in releasing all of your daily experiences.

For all that you have done is enough.

Now is the time for you to let go,

Release and rejuvenate.

We'll be taking a heart opening and stress relieving breath technique.

Where the exhales fall from your lips with an H-A,

Huh sound.

We'll begin with a natural exhalation,

Breathing out every last drop of oxygen.

Then take a new fresh gulp of air all the way into the low belly.

Followed up to the base of your throat.

And when you're ready to exhale,

Let the jaw fall open and breathe it out with a sigh.

Letting go on the exhale.

Followed by a deep breath in,

Buoyant and full.

And a simple exhale through an open jaw.

So good.

One more time now,

Emptying out every last drop of air.

Then filling the belly wide,

The biggest inhale you've taken so far.

Followed by the exhale.

Now releasing into your own natural flow of breathing.

What does not serve me,

Does not deserve me.

With each exhale,

Letting go of not only toxins in the body,

But also toxins of the mind.

Breathing in new life in space.

Creating room for love and light in your life and in your body.

And using the exhale as a powerful tool to release all that no longer serves you.

As you begin to deepen the breath,

Yet even more.

Bring awareness to the soles of the feet.

Notice any tension,

Tightness,

Tenderness,

Or soreness.

Breathing in to release.

Breathing in to inflate these areas.

And exhaling to cleanse and open to release any areas of tightness in the bottoms of the feet.

Bring awareness now to the knees.

Noticing any pain or tenderness around the knees.

Breathing in and inflating.

The kneecap followed to the back of the knee.

And on your exhale releasing.

Imagine the tightness leaving the body.

Now take your focus to the hip point and the pelvic floor.

Awareness to any holding.

Breathing in to these areas of tightness and stagnation.

And on the exhale,

Surrendering,

Allowing.

Renew space and self-regeneration within the hip point.

With each inhale,

It expands.

And with each exhale,

New space is created.

Intightness is released.

And then notice the tops of the shoulders and arms.

Notice any tenderness,

Perhaps soreness.

Now send the breath into these areas.

Expanding in the mind's eye the tops of the shoulders and arms with each inhalation.

And on the exhale releasing,

Allowing for openness to flow in.

Bring awareness to the back of the neck and the back of the head.

Feeling any tingling or pressure here.

And breathing into it,

Opening and creating room for it to be as is.

As you exhale,

Allowing this tightness and pressure to release.

Inflating and deflating these areas of the body with each breath.

At the base of your next exhale,

Shift your focus to the top of your head.

With each inhale,

Breathe in a beautiful white light pouring energy and love.

In through the crown of your head,

Out through the soles of your feet.

Cleansing away any last residue of your day.

Notice if you can breathe in this white light to your belly center and then begin your exhale.

At the belly center,

Breathing out through the hips,

Knees and ankles.

Inhaling from the top of your head to the midpoint of your body.

And then exhaling from the hips,

Knees and bottoms of the feet.

Cycling in breath,

Cleansing the whole body.

Now think of just three things you are grateful for.

Perhaps that's the chance to learn and grow.

Perhaps that's for a safe place to sleep tonight.

Or perhaps it's a person or a thing that brings you joy.

Breathing into these feelings of gratitude and wholeness,

Shifting your vibration.

Just three more exhales here,

Calling into mind all that you are grateful for.

Maybe that's more than three things.

On your third and final exhalation,

Bring a smile to your face,

A gentle,

Soft smile for yourself.

Because here you are at the end of another beautiful day,

Experiencing this thing we call life.

And all those smiles you've been smiling out at everyone else are now smiling back at you in your own heart for you to experience all on your own.

We'll take three final rounds of the H-A-Ha Heart Opening Breath.

Beginning with a deep exhalation.

Followed by a full inhalation,

Breathing into the low belly,

Low ribs and upper chest.

Relax the jaw and open the mouth,

Sighing it out.

Two more now.

A deep breath in.

And even,

Beginning by opening the jaw inside out.

One final round.

Releasing the jaw,

Making the H-A-Ha sound.

With the beautiful sky above and the nourishing earth below,

I wish you peace within.

Namaste,

My friend.

And thank you.
