
Cleansing The Lens Of Your Perception
Each of us see life through our own unique perceptions. We are beautiful soulful beings, having a human experience. And with that experience comes filters that cloud the lens of perception. How we view the world, others, and ourselves is based on what we see & understand by looking through these clouded filters. Join me, for this gentle guided meditation, in Cleansing the Lens of Your Perception. And breathe in the love of who and what you are, to help see things in a loving perspective.

Welcome and thank you for joining me for today's guided meditation on perceptions and how we can find true compassion for others and ourself.
Before we can understand the perception of others,
We must first understand our own personal perceptions,
How we view life,
How we see everything around us,
How we process life,
How we look at other people,
How we observe,
How we judge,
How we respond,
How we react,
How we show up every single day.
Everything we do stems from a perception,
A view of life through a specific lens.
We see life to be the way that it is because of the lens we are looking through.
But who is the one looking through this lens?
Who is the one behind your eyes?
Many great masters and teachers teach us that it is our soul,
Our spirit,
Your higher self,
Energy,
Light.
We are not the body.
We are the one observing life from the inside.
When you close your eyes,
Your mind may be running busy.
What if it were possible to shut off all of that noise?
Just closing your eyes and just bringing all of your attention to the center of your body,
To the layers of everything.
Imagine this beautiful,
Warm,
Light glowing.
This light is streaming down from above,
All the way through your body,
And all the way down into the ground.
It's energy.
It is light.
It is love.
It is you.
The real you.
This incredible being of light has no judgment,
Only love.
This pure being knows all things through love.
And if each of us were able to see life from this perspective,
Of this pure,
Incredible,
Loving being,
We would never feel the pain that has become the normal.
We would see everything through the eyes of the highest vibration of love.
But we don't usually tend to see life this way.
Because somewhere along the way,
In your journey in life,
Something happened that caused you to feel hurt,
Or confused,
Or misunderstood.
And every time something happened that made you question why things were happening this way,
A filter would be placed between the real you,
That pure,
Incredible light being inside,
And the lens that you saw your life through.
And then something else would happen,
Again filtering between that beautiful light inside of you,
And how you saw the world.
And then something else would happen,
And again another filter would be created.
And now you see life through these lenses,
These filtered lenses,
Making sense of the world around you.
As you sit here and you continue to look outward through the series of lenses and filters,
How you view life,
How you see the world,
How you see everyone around you,
How you see everything,
Has been clouded by these filters and these lenses.
Every life experience you have had has contributed to the clouding of your spiritual vision by adding more and more filters between your beautiful,
Pure,
Incredible,
Soulful self,
Spirit,
And the outside world.
Each filter is created by those layers and layers of emotions,
Experiences,
Judgments,
And feeling.
And the same thing has happened for each and every one of us.
This is how we usually show up in the world,
Seeing life through these clouded filters.
We don't see what life really is.
We only see our interpretation of it.
These are perceptions.
They are not wrong or bad.
They are just perceptions of what might be.
Can you imagine if you were to clean these filters?
If you were to clean them,
Erase them,
Wash them clean,
How beautiful would life truly be if you could live from the perspective of pure love?
Let's take a deep breath in and release.
Let it go.
Let's follow that breath in through the nose,
Down through the heart and the belly,
And then exhale it back up through the heart and back out through the nose.
Now let's imagine that this breath is coming instead through the crown of your head.
And as you breathe it in,
This breath is this beautiful light flowing all the way down through your heart space and then down into your belly.
You hold it there and then exhale as you allow this breath to flow down your legs and into your feet and into the ground below you.
As you continue to breathe in,
Imagine this breath.
This beautiful breath is this pure,
Incredible light filling the space of your physical body,
Full of essence,
Spirit and soul.
With this breath,
Imagine that light is your truer self,
Your inner guide,
Your soulful self,
Your truth.
This is the very core of who you really are.
You are light.
You are love.
You are peace.
At the core of it all,
You are this.
And this is what connects you to all things.
This beautiful light energy.
Now imagine this warm light spreading through every cell of your body,
Every tendon,
Every muscle,
Organ,
Bone.
Every single cell is being filled with this light,
This love.
Breathe it in and breathe it out.
Breathe it in,
Breathe it out.
Hold this light inside of you and be aware of it.
Be mindful of it.
Hold yourself in the space of it.
Hold your attention in the space of this loving,
Warm.
Breathe it in and breathe it out.
As you continue to imagine this light filling every cell in your body,
Imagine that this light is cascading down your body,
Starting at the crown of your head,
Almost as if it was warm liquid light washing over and through your entire physical being.
And as this liquid light comes slowly down your crown and into your brain,
Imagine that it is washing your filters and lenses with the purest of love,
With the purest form of compassion,
With the purest form of understanding,
And the most beautiful,
Purest loving form of forgiveness.
This love for yourself and this love for others.
This compassion for yourself and this compassion for others.
This understanding of yourself and understanding others.
Forgiving yourself,
Forgiving others.
Every breath brings more of this beautiful light washing love through your body,
Cleansing your body with love,
Washing your lenses more and more clean from the judgment and the emotions that have been stuck there for so long.
And now as you sit here with this fresh,
New,
Clean perspective,
With no attachments,
No emotions,
With no emotions attached any longer,
Just pure love,
Sit with this and see how it feels inside of you.
Breathe it in and breathe it out from this new,
Clean perspective where no emotions are attached.
I want you to take a moment to think of a situation that caused you to feel frustrated or even angry.
Think back into this moment and see if you are still feeling the same emotion.
If you are still with this feeling or emotion,
I'd like you to imagine your beautiful,
Pure soul stepping out of your physical body,
Just taking a step back and another and another,
Stepping as far back as you need so that you are no longer attached to any emotion or feeling in your body whatsoever.
And from this space,
You are able to see the situation differently.
What is happening from this new perspective of the situation?
Walk this beautiful,
Pure spirit form around behind the other person involved in the situation,
If there's another person.
Imagine yourself stepping into their body for a moment.
Try to step into their emotion and feel it.
What are they feeling?
Try seeing the situation from their perspective,
But also with the understanding now that they are showing up to this same situation with their clouded and filtered lenses as well.
Everything that has ever happened to them is weighing in on the situation and how they see it and how they view it,
How they are reacting and what they are saying.
And from this space,
Inside of this other person,
You are able to see the same situation differently.
What is happening from this new perspective?
Now step back out of the other person and step around.
Allow yourself to just take your beautiful,
Pure spirit and lift up above the two physical bodies in the same situation.
Lift above so that you are now seeing this situation from the highest perspective.
Imagine you are a fly on the wall,
A butterfly maybe,
Or light,
Or love,
Or the universe,
Whatever you resonate with.
Imagine that you are seeing this situation from this higher perspective and sit with it for a moment.
From this space,
From this new perspective,
This higher perspective,
This loving perspective,
Unattached to any emotions from either person,
What do you see differently?
What do you see is happening?
Now gently let yourself come back down,
Come back around and step back into your body,
Connecting again with your physical body.
But with it this time,
You are bringing your newfound perspectives.
And I want you to just take a deep breath of love into your body again and gently sit with it for a moment.
What is there to learn from seeing this situation from a new perspective?
What is there to see?
What can you take away from this that you hadn't been able to see before?
When you are able to see things through the perspective and eyes of another,
Especially when it is full of the understanding,
The love,
The compassion,
And forgiveness,
You are able to let go of the grip you held on to and what you believe it to be.
You are able to feel lighter and with this new perception,
There is something beautiful to learn.
What is the lesson?
What can you learn from this beautiful situation?
You are light.
You are love.
There is a beautiful way to process perceptions.
Do so with love and understanding and compassion and forgiveness.
Breathe it in.
Breathe it out.
