Hi everyone,
I have a little space now by myself up in my writer's cabin and I felt like doing a meditation with you all.
So if you have a minute of time or a few,
I would love to be your guide and do just a simple remembrance.
If you do hear any cracking,
Popping sounds,
I have a fire in the background so that explains that for you.
And I have a bit of a cold so forgive the nasally voice.
I'm going to begin today's meditation with a quote by Jack Kiriak.
Everything is ecstasy inside.
We don't know it because of our thinking minds.
But in our true blissful essence of mind is known that everything is alright forever and forever and forever.
Close your eyes and let your hands and nerve ends drop.
Stop breathing for three seconds.
Listen to the silence inside,
The illusion of the world and you will remember the lesson you forgot,
Which was taught in immense Milky Way soft cloud,
Innumerable words long ago and not even at all.
It is all one vast awakened thing.
I call it the golden eternity.
It is perfect.
So let's close our eyes and let our hands and nerve ends drop and stop breathing for three seconds.
And listen to the silence inside the illusion of the world.
And remember it's all one vast awakened thing.
It's all one vast awakened thing.
And try and pivot and play with this vast awakened silence at the edge of you.
Try shifting your focus from your inner heart,
Your inner breath and this quiet peace at the edge in between all around within.
Feeling it welcome you.
Feeling yourself remember you are part of this.
And this is part of you.
It's very easy to get lost in our minds throughout our day.
To give all of our money and time to our fears.
To stoke the fire of our distrust.
To grow our worries.
To nurse our pain.
It is very easy to get lost in those landscapes in that place.
It takes courage and wisdom to consciously take this pause.
To take a moment to engage with this golden eternity around us.
To allow the great wide pause holding us in this place.
To allow it back into our hearts and our bodies.
To remember to invite it in to our restless minds and to our aching hearts and to our exhausted bodies.
It takes great courage and wisdom to choose this type of embodiment.
To choose to spend this moment with me in this way.
May we remember.
May we remember.
May we remember.
I was out on the lake paddling with my son the other day and I took a pause and I said,
Oh do you feel the beauty knocking as sun on your face?
Is this water holding us in peace and tranquility,
Do you feel it knocking at the doorway of you?
And he said yes I feel it beauty's always there.
And I said but we don't always let it in.
We often keep moving and forget to answer the door.
We forget to open up our beings to take the pause to take the breath to let the joy wash in and through our bodies.
It is always knocking.
We just forget to let it in.
Breathing in I allow golden eternity,
This perfect moment all the way into my body.
I allow it to swirl through my tissues around and in the cavity of my heart.
I allow it to move like wind through the cluttered contents of my mind.
I allow it to wash my eyes clear.
I allow it to widen my breath and my belly.
I allow it to ground me here in what is most real and true.
Moving alongside this community of open hearts and willing spirits.
Beauty is always there.
May we remember to let it in.
May we remember.
May we remember.
Breathing in and out alongside,
Within,
All around us.
You and me.
And then just open your eyes whenever you'd like.
And thank you for spending this 14 minutes with me remembering the golden eternity,
The ecstasy inside this moment.
Have a blessed day.
May you be well.
May you be happy.
May you be healthy.
May you be safe.
May you live in peace and ease,
Dear one.
