"You are just as deserving of love as any other being. How could it not be so." Feel yourself open to loving kindness in this classic compassion practice that brings rest to mind and body. Compassion tells our minds that all is well. When our minds relax, our bodies relax, allowing the natural desire for sleep to take over.

Welcome.

Find yourself in a comfortable place.

Seated,

Lying down,

Legs up the wall.

Have the lights below.

Feel yourself soften,

Coming into the sweetness of this present moment.

Body heavy.

All the muscles of your face heavy.

Relax.

Letting go of the wish that anything in this moment be different than it is.

Don't wish away your life.

Instead,

Connect in with what is here and now.

Embrace the gift of this moment.

Even if it doesn't look like what you would choose.

In this place of increasing softness,

Increasing presence.

Feel your body as it breathes right here,

Right now.

Feel your body breathing you.

No thought required.

Automatic and perfect.

And feeling how your body supports you.

How every moment of your life,

It has been here for you.

Every moment of your life,

Your breath has been here for you.

The proven power of kindness changes our internal state from one of lack to one of abundance.

From fear to safety.

To recognizing how full our lives are because we have enough to share.

With your eyes closed or soft,

Begin to invite in one by one the images of people in your life.

Taking your time whenever an image comes to mind,

Let it stay for a few breaths,

A few moments.

See that person smiling at you.

Feel your heart smile back at them.

Silently in your mind,

Say to this person,

May you be peaceful and happy.

Let all of them receive your goodwill,

Your kind wishes for their well-being.

Staying with this person,

This image,

As long as you wish.

Taking time as that image passes.

Invite the next one to arise in your mind.

Do so naturally.

Whenever the next person floats through your mind,

Invite them to stay.

See them smiling back at you.

That's right.

Once,

Repeating over and over,

Say to them,

May you be peaceful and happy.

Feel them receive your goodwill,

Your kind wishes for their well-being.

I'll watch the time and just continue with this process.

Being with each person,

One at a time.

And inviting their image to pass when it's ready.

Just resting until the next image,

The next person comes to mind.

Let it be natural.

Let it be kind for yourself and the other.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

If your mind wanders,

Just invite it to rest on the next image of a person in your life that comes to mind.

Order is not important.

It's resting in kindness.

In sharing and in the sharing,

Feeling yourself receive.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

You can stay here as long as you wish.

Know that this process is available for you any moment of any day.

Returning to offering kindness.

Wishes of peace and happiness for all you pass.

For every time you give,

You also receive.

The beauty,

Compassion,

Of kindness,

Of love.

From my heart to yours.

Namaste.

Thank you.
