Dear beloved.
I welcome you to the heart meditation.
There is a saying that the brain thinks whereas the heart knows.
So in this meditation we will be dropping down from the brain to the heart.
Or in other words,
We will be dropping down from the head to the heart.
Because it is in our head that we have a lot of thoughts,
Which mostly are in the form of fears.
But as we drop down to the heart,
We connect to love.
We connect to unknowing of love and we connect to presence.
So let's do that.
You can now get into your posture,
Whatever that is for you.
It's a good idea to have your back straight but relaxed at the same time.
To check if your back is straight,
You can check if your crown of the head and the base of your spine are in alignment.
And then I will request you to gradually close your eyes because we will be doing a visualization practice.
And then as you close your eyes,
Become aware of your body.
Relax your mind.
We will start with a body scan.
So first,
Bringing your awareness to your head.
And relaxing your head.
Relaxing your face muscles.
Your neck,
Your shoulders.
Your arms,
Your hands.
Your chest,
Your abdomen.
Your back,
Pelvis.
Thighs,
Knees.
And then relaxing your calves and your feet.
And then become aware of your emotions,
Your feelings.
Just observe these emotions.
Become aware of any thoughts crossing your mind.
And just observe these thoughts as if you are watching them from a distance.
Now become aware of your breath.
Allow yourself to observe your breath for a while.
To observe the breath as it goes in and out of your body.
Just notice the texture of the breath and the temperature of the breath.
Like a Stomach.
And now gradually bring your awareness to your head once again.
And now in your mind's eye,
Imagine and visualize that there is a room inside your head.
This is the room of your brain.
It has all the thoughts.
It has all those people in it.
It has many objects in it.
You have entered this room of your head right now.
Allow yourself to visualize this room.
How does it look like?
Is it cluttered?
Is it peaceful?
Are there any people in this room?
Are there any objects in this room?
Take your time to visualize and notice each and every detail of this room.
And now in a corner of this room,
You see that there is a version of you,
The thinking version who is sitting.
You go,
As you go near to this thinking version of you,
You see that this thinking self of yours is sitting and ruminating on thoughts,
Ruminating on the past,
Worrying about the future.
You can see that your thinking self have their head down.
Feel this thinking self of yours.
Notice their body language,
Their facial expressions.
Then you see that there is a door in this room.
This door is the door of an elevator.
So you go near this door.
This door opens and you step into the elevator.
And then you see that in this elevator there is a button which says,
The heart floor.
So you press this button.
The elevator starts going down.
And now I would request you to gradually bring your awareness down from your head to your heart.
And then the door of the elevator opens.
And now you have entered the room of your heart.
As you enter this room,
You feel this vibe of love.
There is love and peace in this room.
Maybe you can listen to a melodious music.
You realise how the room of your heart looks like.
This room represents love and peace.
Just allow yourself to decorate it in your imagination.
And then when you see the centre of this room,
You see that there is a version of you who is dancing,
Singing.
This is the heart version of you.
They are happy,
Joyous,
In love,
In peace.
Allow yourself to observe this heart version of you.
Observe their body language.
Observe their facial expressions.
And then this heart version of you comes near you and gives you a warm loving embrace,
A warm hug.
And it whispers in your ear,
Be Love.
Be Peace.
Be Joy.
And as you are hugging them,
You are now merging with your heart version.
You are becoming one with them.
You yourself now have become your heart version.
Feel that love in your mind,
Body and soul.
Feel that joy,
That bliss.
And feel that peace.
And with this new energy,
Gradually bring your awareness back to the presence of your body in your surroundings.
You can move your hands and feet.
And then slowly in your own time,
Like a tortoise,
You can crawl out of the meditation and you can open your eyes.
