
Grieving With Love

We can grieve loved ones, places, and phases. As long as we love, we shall grieve. It is a part of the human condition. We live in a world where life and death go hand-in-hand. It can be challenging to process and accept endings. We can feel pressured to move on before we are ready, ending up feeling confused, overwhelmed, or numb. In this meditation, you can grieve with love. You will enter a safe and loving space expansive enough to hold all emotions, views, and perspectives.

So for this meditation you can sit or lay down in a comfortable position Make sure that you're in a safe and loving space you can even I can know if you want to Those are ensure that you will not be disturbed during the duration of this meditation So you can really allow yourself to go deeply into the process When you're sitting or laying down in a comfortable position I first invite you to become aware of your breath Every inhale Every exhale Without necessarily having to change your breathing You need to allow yourself to become aware of the breath While you're breathing you can invite your awareness,
Know your presence Back into your body,
Back into the present moment So all your awareness and focus is in the here and now And to know that in this moment you don't have to be anywhere else,
Think of anything else or to do anything else Safe to be here right now And it's okay to allow yourself to feel and to process without necessarily having to change the way you feel And it's okay to allow yourself to feel and to process without necessarily having to change the way you feel Now you can allow yourself to breathe in more deeply,
To exhale more slowly And yet today in this meditation we welcome all feelings and all perspectives with love and compassion Now I invite you to focus on the center of your heart You can even put one or both hands on top of your heart or your chest While focusing with your awareness in the center of your heart,
You should allow yourself to feel For all those feelings and sensations to flow freely And as a focus of breathing through your heart space,
Through your chest With the awareness that your heart space can reach far beyond your physical heart,
Even far beyond your body With each breath you can allow that heart space It holds all those emotions with love to expand,
To expand all the way throughout your body So you can include and feel all of you Without having to push away,
Suppress or hide any parts of yourself You can allow those feelings to flow freely like water The understanding that emotions come and go in waves And all you have to do is witness and feel And now again I invite you to focus on the center of your heart and to imagine,
Sense or feel that in the center of your heart is a very bright sparkling light And it is a light of unconditional love that beholds the essence of who you are Now I invite you to imagine,
Sense or feel that thought of light in the center of your heart expanding with each inhale,
With every exhale The light expands further and further,
So it fully beholds your heart,
Spreading all over your chest,
All the way up,
Down and sideways throughout the rest of your body And the light of love gently melts away,
The resistance to feeling,
Only not true force Worn a similar way of how the sun rays melt the ice,
Gently without force With every inhale you can allow that light to spread further,
With every exhale you can let go a little bit more of that tension of the resistance that you are still holding on to Knowing that it is safe to let go,
One breath at a time,
You don't have to force or push yourself into feeling anything that you are not comfortable with in this moment This love is light shining right within you,
Meets you exactly where you are at,
With love,
Compassion and acceptance You can now allow that light to spread all around your body,
Wrapping you up safely in a cocoon of light Reminding you that you are safe,
You are loved,
You are held and you are supported by the divine within you,
Now and always And that this divine presence will never leave or abandon you,
It is always here within you,
In the centre of your heart,
In the essence of who you are And while being held by a light of love,
In front of you,
It now also opens up a portal of light that wishes to guide you to a safe place Where you can process,
Where you can feel sacred space to grieve With your free will you can decide to enter a portal of light,
You know that you are held safely When you get on the other end of the portal,
You enter a magical forest,
A forest that has your favourite trees,
Flowers and animals The sun is setting,
When you look up,
The sky,
All these beautiful colours of pink,
Lila,
Bits of blue,
This warm orange,
All mixing to one another Everywhere you look there is beauty,
It is peaceful When you look ahead there is this great ancient tree,
Standing on top of the hill And you decide to walk towards it,
Taking it one step at a time,
Taking a magical peaceful environment,
A tree,
A beautiful forest And when you reach the tree,
You decide to touch it,
You feel this texture against your head And the tree feels safe to you,
So you decide to sit down against the tree Feeling the tree bark support your back,
Reminding you that you are supported in your process While you are sitting down you can just allow yourself to process for a moment to just be,
Not having to do anything While breathing in the fresh air of the forest,
Taking in the magical environment Allowing yourself to feel whatever wants to be felt in this moment You have to understand that there is no right or wrong way to feel Even when we don't understand what we feel,
It doesn't make it wrong And it is also okay to be confused,
To feel overwhelmed and to not be able to name or understand what it is that you are feeling To know that your heart is expensive enough to hold it all In the distance you can see an animal coming closer to you,
How it comes closer to you,
It reveals itself to you And the animal that you will see,
Sense or feel is a messenger that has come here to visit you in times of need It has specifically decided to come here all this way to you And immediately you feel a deep connection to the animal,
You recognize it And the animal has come here to accompany you in your breathing process And also to remind you that you are not alone in anything,
That so many other human beings just like you are breathing And even if you live in a world that tells you to move on quickly,
It is okay to say no And it is okay to gift yourself all the time and the presence that you need And it is safe to allow yourself to agree The animal also is a special message for you,
It is only for your ears to hear So I will now give you this place so that your spirit animal can communicate with you And give you an important message that you need to hear at this moment in time You know that this message can come to you in many different ways Just allow yourself to receive it all And know that you don't have to immediately make sense of it And also allow yourself to process its message You can fully take it in If you have not fully received this message,
You can thank your spirit animal If this process doesn't feel complete to you yet,
You can also decide to pause this meditation and listen just a little bit longer And will you take your animal?
And ask you if he or she can join you and accompany you further on your journey To support and guide you when in need You can also decide to allow the animal to just stay here And if you want your spirit animal to further accompany you,
You can just invite it into your heart space,
You can find a warm space within your heart to settle into And then it will continue to support you in your process And you can just take a moment to feel it entering and settling into your heart while breathing deeply through your heart space Feeling the warmth and the love within your heart that is always here within you And when you feel ready,
You can take a deep breath in,
Fully feeling your belly like a balloon And on the exhale,
Reentering your body Coming back to the room you're in,
Being aware of your body sitting and laying down You can even make some small movements And then again allowing yourself to just breathe Giving yourself a moment to further process anything that came up for you during this meditation Giving yourself some extra space and time to process before reentering the world And you can also give yourself permission to just be able to lay or sit down And you can just feel and process either after the closing of this meditation if you want So we're now going to take another three big breaths and on the third breath you can decide to open your eyes again So now,
Your first big breath in,
Completely feeling your belly with air,
Exhaling with your sigh at the end Allowing your body to relax and release And another big breath in and out,
Making a sound at the end Big breath in And on the exhale,
Opening your eyes Allowing yourself to fully come back into the room you're in Also giving yourself a moment to adjust Now we're going to close off this meditation and I just want to thank you so much for being brave enough to open yourself up to this process And gifting yourself to this very precious time Good,
