Spending habit.
Hello Beloved.
I notice that sometimes I spend money without really thinking.
Not because I truly need something,
But because there's a feeling underneath it.
A wanting,
A reaching,
A quiet desire to feel something different.
And today,
I'm not judging that part of me.
I'm simply noticing it.
I can see how easy it is to believe that this next purchase might bring a sense of relief.
Or excitement.
Or even just a small moment of comfort.
And sometimes I let myself.
Sometimes I choose to spend and that's okay.
But today I pause.
I take a breath and I ask myself gently.
What is it that I truly need right now?
Is it a thing?
Or is it the feeling I imagine it will give me?
And from this place of awareness,
I give myself a different kind of permission.
I give myself permission to choose wisely.
To choose in a way that supports my life.
Not just this moment.
So today,
Instead of spending on something I don't really need,
I choose to place this energy,
This money,
Towards something that matters deeply to me.
Maybe it's my next yoga retreat.
Or space where I can breathe.
Grow and reconnect.
Maybe it's my home.
Creating stability and grounding for my future.
Maybe it's something practical,
Something that will quietly support me in the seasons ahead.
And as I make this choice,
I am not depriving myself.
I am redirecting myself.
I am honoring a deeper desire.
One that lasts longer than a passing want.
And I trust myself in this.
I trust that I can hold both the part of me that wants and the part of me that chooses.
And today,
I choose with care.
I choose with awareness.
I choose with love.
May this practice support you today and in the days ahead.
