This meditation is designed for those of us in times of stuckness and heaviness. Through our journey together, we will cultivate an abundance of freedom and spaciousness for the body and the mind. As we sail through the practice, warming the body and expanding outward, we support openness and a letting go of patterns and any tethers that may have us anchored to old habits or heaviness that is limiting our growth. Thank you for your dedication to the practice. Song: opening, Nada Sadhana

Welcome everybody to this beautiful meditation that we will be sitting together I'm sitting on my bed and Because Bali doesn't have anywhere in the entire country where it's really properly silent We have the opportunity to Bring in any sounds any external sounds into our meditation So whether you hear crickets or someone speaking in the background in the distance I want to invite you to Let it arise As if there were no difference between a sound of a car honking or the voice of God Because they're the same thing So let's begin can roll your shoulders back and sit up tall Without a rigid spine,

So we're sitting tall but soft Just balance in between engaged and released if you're wanting to lay down you can For this meditation will move through A powerful experience in freedom As we sit And receive We can start engaging the breath As we inhale And exhale As we inhale And exhale We'll start warming the body With our ujjayi breath our ocean breath the way that sounds is on an inhale we inflate expand stomach and on an exhale we Constrict the throat as if we're trying to fog up a mirror So we gently engage the stomach deep inhale Constrict We'll give you this with our mouth open or closed And let's start extending the breath as we fall deeper and deeper into the oasis of the breath Using the breath as our boat as we gently serve the waves The waves of sensations that are coming through The waves of thoughts that come Using our ujjayi breath as an anchor as a boat To sail smoothly Regardless of what comes Noticing a spaciousness a deepening As if the present moment is getting wider And is holding us in Notice the body warming up As we gently activate the cells the respiratory system As we subtly engage with the body And as we engage with the body As we engage with the body As we subtly engage with the body Noticing how as we move with the breath The physical body responds The formless influences the form The software influences the heart allowing yourself to get lost To let go of the mind To let go of needing to let go To let go of needing to let go Freedom Take two more breaths with the ujjayi And one last as if it were the last breath of your life We'll do a vibrational breath together so we'll inhale and with sound exhale And with sound exhale we'll do one more getting anything stuck out deep in And releasing the practice And sitting in a gentle awareness to observe any changes in the body or mind Not needing to label Not needing to conceptualize or analyze Just feeling,

Receiving,

Allowing so be The mind is soft,

The body is soft,

The jaws relax,

The tongue Allowing the practice to integrate before we move to the next Allowing this pause of spaciousness The healing is in the gaps,

In between Letting the dust settle And I want you now to imagine Imagine that you're this big beautiful brightly colored hot air balloon A big balloon with a basket underneath The balloon is red and yellow and orange,

Vibrant colors And it's early in the morning The sun rises and you notice as you sit on the ground as this big balloon You want to take off,

You want to be free and travel and journey So the fire lights to allow you to rise into the air And slowly as the sun rises and you rise You notice that you're tethered,

Connected to the ground by a rope 40 meters above the ground,

Trying to go higher and higher But you're caught in prison,

Stuck And as you yearn to be free,

All of a sudden the rope starts to break And it rips,

Ugh,

And you sail higher and higher Release,

Free And as you float into the air,

The sun rises and you can feel this warmth Radiating As you travel through the sky and see the land below you Mountains,

Forests,

Valleys,

You see water and the ocean in the distance As you just effortlessly float across the sky Fully free Not needing to go anywhere specific,

Just receiving the beauty of what lies below As you sail through the air The wind blows to one direction and you flow with the wind As if it were a river guiding you Letting nature choose your path,

Allowing yourself to be guided And as you witness this beautiful planet beneath you in awe of how spectacular the natural world is And once you've had enough,

Once you feel satisfied,

Full and whole We turn down the fire and start to get closer and closer to the ground As we descend further and further towards the earth And land gently in a large open field As we come back to the ground,

We allow our balloon to rest softly And we can release the practice with a vibrational breath deep in and out One more deep inhale and soften into it Allowing the practice to integrate and noticing any changes Noticing spaciousness in the body,

Spaciousness in the mind Openness in the heart,

In the belly,

In tune,

In line with what wants to happen Where am I being guided to?

Where am I resisting?

Right now Is my body wanting to move or sway and I'm resisting?

Is my mind wanting to wander and I'm resisting?

Let's take the next few moments to practice letting go of resisting The next few moments of journeying with the wind,

With whatever arises Does my body want to lay down?

Does my body want to express itself in some way?

Can I let it?

Does my body want stillness?

Does my mind want stillness?

Can I wing into that?

And in just a few moments,

Our practice will come to a conclusion But really the practice remains For the rest of our day,

Our life,

Live We can continue to ask the question,

What wants to happen and am I resisting?

What is the natural world around me supporting right now?

Can I lean into the natural cycles?

Together we take two vibrational breaths to finish the practice deeper Bringing the hands to heart center Rubbing the palms together to create warmth in the hands And once we get some heat building,

Bring your palms to your eyes,

Covering your eyes Receiving whatever experience arises Allowing the hands to come back down to the knees When we're in the river and we have tension,

When we have fear,

When we hit the rocks,

Our body takes a big toll But when we're in the river and we release,

When we soften Even when we bump into the rocks,

We gently bounce off of them And if there's a current around you that is bringing you somewhere,

How much can I soften into that?

It's already right here.

Everything is already right here Thank you for joining the practice today,

Wishing you deep freedom,

Spaciousness and listening May all beings be happy,

May all beings be peaceful,

May all beings be free The enlightened me sees and honors the enlightened in each and every one of you We're the same,

We're the same Namaste Thank you Thank you Thank you
