Take a time out and tune in to the elements and astrological energies within yourself.

These meditations will take you on a journey to align with the four elements and twelve zodiac signs naturally expressing themselves every day within each and every one of us.

Let's harness this astrological energy within to live a fuller,

Aligned life.

Let's grow.

Tuning in to the fire sign of Leo.

This is the second of three fire signs.

In this guided meditation,

We will align the energies of fire,

Leo,

The sun,

The lion,

And your main character energy.

To begin,

Settle in.

Sit up tall where you are.

Arms resting,

Shoulders relaxed.

Maybe your eyes are closed.

Next time you breathe in,

Follow your breath into the lungs,

Filling up and expanding your ribcage.

And when you exhale,

Feel the body become lighter.

Follow your next breath in all the way to the lungs.

Feel the ribs expand more.

And then as you exhale,

Feel the body become lighter.

One more time,

Take an inhale,

Follow the breath all the way into the lungs.

When you exhale,

Feel your body become lighter.

Let's move through a body scan to relax,

Release,

And create flow before our visualization meditation for Leo.

Start by wiggling your toes.

Awaken your feet and say hello.

Warm your ankles and calves by giving them a good stretch.

Then thank them for how they carry you each day.

As you sense now into your knees,

Thighs,

And hips,

Say hello and send them thanks for holding you up.

Feel your shoulders softening.

Relax your arms,

Hands,

And fingers.

Softening and enjoying the sensation.

Then thanking your upper body for navigating life so closely with you.

In this moment,

Set an intention for your practice.

Let it be aligned today with the energy of your main character.

Once you've set your intention,

Bring it into the center of your chest where your heart space is.

And focus simultaneously on your intention and your breath.

A meditation for Leo energy,

The main characters of the Zodiac.

With your eyes softly closed,

I invite you to picture your life thus far as a movie.

Draw your memory back as far as you are able and watch each scene play out before your eyes.

In this movie,

Aware of it or not,

You are the main character.

The supporting actors are your closest friends,

Family,

And perhaps your co-workers.

Notice whose faces you see here.

Who are the supporting actors in your life thus far?

Now check out the extras on set.

The ones that you pass by in the streets,

Meet in the local coffee shop or bookstore or yoga studio.

Who are your extras on set?

Now just for a moment,

Watch the movie of your life one more time,

But now with yourself as the main character from the beginning.

How confident are you in this role?

A reminder here that not only are you the main character in this movie,

But you are also the director,

Producer,

Creator,

Writer,

Editor,

And narrator.

You are even your supporting actors because they are a mirror for you,

Highlighting your best and at times worst features.

See this movie of your life play out before your eyes with you as the main character now.

You are the life-giving force of your movie,

Just like the sun is to the earth.

In what areas of your life can you become more confident as the main character?

Where in your life can you take the lead?

Open up your big heart and share your creativity and love for life with all the characters in your movie.

Everyone is in this movie because of you.

Now just for a moment,

Lean in to the energy of your inner child.

Through the eyes of your inner child,

Create the next scene of your movie,

Weaving this childlike energy into something you are actively pursuing and creating in your life.

Make it playful,

Exciting,

And fun,

And see how your inner child can inspire your main character energy to be seen.

As you create the next scene of your movie,

Make any edits or changes necessary along the way so that you feel your best and are surrounded by people who encourage and love you for your exuberance,

Big energy,

And willingness to shine.

Now thank your inner child for playing with you and showing you the way.

Give your inner child a hug,

A high five,

And feel yourself go your separate ways.

Coming back into your body,

Noticing your breath.

And here in the present moment in your life that you're living,

How can you embody the energy of the lion?

With strong and powerful energy,

As an inspiring leader,

With your pride and supporting actors.

You are fearless,

You are brave,

And you protect those you love.

You are majestic and a magnetic being in energy and appearance.

Breathe in this energy of Leo into your body.

Feel it land at your heart and bring warmth to your field.

Knowing you can call on this energy any time when you need a boost of main character energy in your life now.

No more navigating life from the back seat.

It's time to take the wheel as the main character.

Return to your breath.

Let your breath inspire tiny movements in your fingers,

In your hands,

In your toes,

And in your feet as this meditation comes to a close.

Feel your breath become full,

Sipping in all the oxygen you can into your lungs.

Holding your breath for a moment,

Retaining it at the top.

And then exhaling out of your mouth all the toxins,

Bad attitudes,

And stress in your life.

Let it go.

Feel your body,

Mind,

And spirit in this moment.

Let it be.

Open the eyes,

Look around,

And arrive.

Now take one more breath to seal this practice with me.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Smile.
