The neutral mind is our still point. This is the place where we balance negative and positive and come to the best solution for all. A calm mind is where the answers lie. Use this simple meditation for times of stress or duress. Involves a hand position (mudra) and silent mantra - Wahe Guru - the mantra of ecstasy.

Sat Naam and welcome.

Today's meditation is for the neutral mind.

The mind that is balancing positive and negative and looking for neutral without reactivity.

Where you act rather than react.

Let's begin now.

Press your palms together at the center of your chest.

Sit up tall and straight.

Find the midline of your body.

Feel balanced in your legs,

In your shoulders.

Inhale very deeply.

We begin with a long Sat short naam.

Sat Naam.

Relax your hands down to your lap.

Place the left hand down first and then the right palm on top with the thumb tips touching.

Keep a very tall straight spine.

Close your eyes and focus all of your energy inward.

So with this mudra now,

Your hand position,

Relax your shoulders,

Relax your hips.

And now mentally begin this mantra.

Wahe Guru.

Wahe Guru.

Wahe Guru.

Continue now softly in your mind a slow recitation of this mantra.

Wahe Guru is the mantra of ecstasy.

Guru is whatever brings us from darkness to light.

Wahe Guru.

Wahe Guru.

Wahe Guru.

Wahe Guru.

Wahe Guru.

Wahe Guru.

WAH,

HEY,

GURU WAH,

HEY,

GURU Now continue on in your own mind,

In your own time,

This slow,

Steady repetition of the mantra,

WAH,

HEY,

GURU.

Your breath will regulate itself.

And you can call on your highest self.

Let go and let everything be.

WAH,

HEY,

GURU WAH,

HEY,

GURU Last two.

WAH,

HEY,

GURU Inhale very deeply.

Exhale completely.

Feel your radiance.

Feel your sovereignty and your grace.

Press your palms together at the center of your chest.

And we close our time together with a long Sat,

Short Nam.

Truth is my name.

Sat,

Nam.

an amazing practice. the challenge of the mind drifting was met with such grace in acknowledging that I am consciously, deliberately meeting and using my neutral mind for the first time in many ways. finding grace for myself in this practice was affirming and relaxing. grateful πŸ˜ŒπŸ™πŸΎ.

Lovely! FYI for anyone else with roommates that is wondering, this one doesn’t include any chanting aloud besides a sat nam at the beginning and end.
