Take a seat or lay down,

Grab a blanket if you might get cold,

Make yourself as comfortable as possible,

Close your eyes if you wish,

Tuck in a pillow wherever you might feel discomfort or pain,

Give yourself enough physical support to be able to be completely present for your emotional needs.

The queen of affirmations is I am safe.

I am safe.

Come back to those words if at any point during this meditation you feel activated by old memories or feelings,

Let that be the anchor for today's practice.

Let's deepen the awareness of your breath,

Focus on slowing down your inhales and exhales,

Making them deeper,

Letting air into all corners of your lungs,

Expanding on each inhale.

Most of our chronic pain and internal suffering and suffering takes root in our childhoods.

Those early experiences rob us of the ability to develop without any bias.

Who we are,

How we love,

How we treat others and ourselves is a direct representation of our experiences as babies,

Toddlers,

Children.

As hard as it is to face the difficult memories and moments of our childhood and early adulthood,

It is the only way towards liberation and freedom from things that are holding us back.

This freedom can only come through facing the reality of our life head on,

Through seeing things as they are without the veil of protection that we have created for ourselves as children in order to survive.

Through your journey into those dark corners of your mind,

Through careful contemplation of the effects of it on your self-destructive behavior and through deep experience of your feelings,

You can reach inner peace and understanding of yourself.

You are a multidimensional,

Beautiful human being that's deserving,

Kind,

And compassionate not only towards others but also towards yourself.

I invite you to contemplate what's possible if I let go of my past?

What's possible if I let go of the hurt?

Inhale through your nose and let go whatever came up on the exhale.

In your head,

Repeat after me,

I am unattached.

My past does not own me.

My past does not define me.

I cast no judgment on the person I have shaped into and nurture myself with love and compassion.

I am accepting of my wounds and take pride in being my own biggest healer.

I am capable of loving myself freely and unconditionally.

I let go of my past and pain and forgive myself for putting others' needs above my own.

I accept my past and let go of any resentment and hurt.

I embrace my authentic self and listen to my needs without judgment.

I have the emotional maturity to accept all parts of myself.

I am loving and kind and my wounds do not define me.

I let go of people-pleasing and know that love is not transactional.

I am not afraid to set boundaries that protect my inner peace and my inner child.

I let go of the fear and know that my past is no longer my reality.

I am safe.

Inhale through your nose and let it flow on the exhale.

Let that go.

What is possible if you let go?

What is possible if you offer yourself the love that you've been missing?

You are the light and the love that you seek.

You are boundless,

Selfless,

Deserving and whole.

Whenever you're ready,

You can slowly come back to this present moment and open your eyes.

If you're up for it,

Give yourself a comforting embrace.

Place your right hand underneath your left armpit,

Extending it towards your back while placing the left hand on top of your right shoulder.

You are safe.

Stay for as long as you need.

I hope your mind has been eased and your soul has been lightened.

Thank you for letting me guide you today.
