If you've found yourself mentally or verbally complaining about specific body parts recently,
This practice is for you.
Perhaps it's an area that we tend to send a tad too many negative thoughts,
And sending these negative thoughts is literally sending darkness to these parts of our bodies,
Sometimes on a daily basis.
And we do this consciously and even unconsciously too.
So today we're going to work on what I call dark spots in the body that simply need more light,
Love and attention.
So make sure that you are comfortable and that you will not be disturbed for the next few minutes.
Closing your eyes if they weren't closed already,
Take a deep breath in and exhale out.
Letting the music soften your mind and calm your mind.
Letting the tension melt away as you bring awareness to the crown and slowly moving down and feeling the space between your eyebrows.
Then relaxing these beautiful eyes of yours.
Eyelids are softening.
Moving down and bringing awareness to this fabulous nose of yours.
Gorgeous lips.
Releasing your delicate jaw.
Feeling your whole head relax.
As we keep moving down and down,
Releasing the tension in the neck,
In these beautiful shoulders and arms of yours.
Keep moving down and releasing tension in these hardworking hands and fingers.
Taking a deep breath in and feeling your chest rise.
And as you exhale,
Feeling your whole upper body,
Upper back and beautiful generous heart of yours relax.
Keep moving down as we release the tension in the belly.
Feeling your gorgeous belly drop and beam.
Releasing the lower back and any tension in the lower belly,
Pelvic floor.
If there is any stickiness,
Heaviness,
Tension,
Ask your body to let go.
It's safe to release and let go.
Releasing tension in these breathtaking hips of yours,
Thighs.
Releasing the whole legs.
And tension is being removed from these gorgeous feet of yours.
Good.
Now imagine in your mind's eye walking towards a body of water.
It's a beautiful sunny day,
The air is crisp and you can hear the birds singing.
You notice the water is clear and the sun is shining which creates beautiful dancing crystal light sparkles on the water.
You gently step one foot in,
Then the next.
You keep walking to this body of crystal light water.
You take a deep breath in and fully emerge your whole body and head in it.
The water is just the ideal temperature and refreshes your whole body,
Head to toe.
You gently start to float,
Letting the sun illuminating your whole body,
Especially the darker spots that we tend to appreciate a little less about ourselves and feel less connected to.
As you keep floating,
Feel the warmth of the sun illuminating these body parts that need more love.
Whether that would be your thighs,
Hips,
Belly,
Breasts,
Arms.
Let this healing light fill these body parts with so much love and gratitude for a moment.
Now letting your subconscious and conscious mind soak in these loving affirmations.
Of course my body is magnificent.
I deeply love,
Nourish,
And take really good care of my body every single day.
I enjoy living in my body.
Of course I'm beautiful,
In fact,
I feel beautiful,
Sexy,
Light,
Juicy in my body from the moment I wake up in the morning till the moment I rest my head on the pillow at night.
I cherish every moment I'm spending living in this body in this lifetime.
Every day,
In every way,
I'm sending positive thoughts to my body so it can heal and keep flourishing.
I am magnificent and that's just it.
Thank you my body,
Thank you.
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale slowly start to come out of the water.
You gently walk away from the water to get back to this very moment,
To this room.
Take all the time you need to wake up the body.
You can start by slightly moving the toes,
The fingers.
If you want to take another deep breath in to wake up the chest.
Perhaps rolling your neck and shoulders.
You can even yawn to wake up that gorgeous face of yours.
