Notice how when someone expresses anger,
Sadness or even excitement,
How we tend to feel this way too.
For no logical reason,
We suddenly move on with our day feeling that same anger,
Sadness or even excitement.
That's simply because we are magnetic beings and even through social media and the virtual world we absorb and tune in to other people's emotions all the time.
And it's making us feel drained,
Exhausted and depleted when in reality these emotions are not even yours to carry most of the time.
The good news is we can remove this dense negative energy that we tend to carry and protect ourselves from attracting other people's stuff.
We can do this with meditation with a technique that easily cleanses your energy body.
Now gently close your eyes if they weren't closed already or you can keep them open with a soft gaze.
Take a deep breath in,
Hold at the top and a big exhale out.
Let's do five more.
Five in,
Inhale.
Five out,
Exhale.
Four in,
Inhale.
Four out,
Exhale.
Three in.
Three out.
Two in.
Two out.
One in.
One out.
Good.
Now that we're fully in the body try to imagine a shield of light forming around your whole being.
Create in your mind's eye this bubble around you so that you feel protected and fully supported by it.
It may be hard at first but if you can't see it,
It's okay.
The shield or bubble is translucent,
It's soft yet strong and can withstand anything that comes your way.
Now take a deep breath in and imagine a beautiful stream of water,
Perhaps a waterfall pouring in from above.
The water is warm and is softly landing on the crown of your head,
Pouring down to the sides of your head,
The back,
Your face,
Neck,
Shoulders as it deeply relaxes and cleanses away any stickiness,
Tension,
Heavy emotions,
Pulling in every bit of debris in your energy and bringing it down,
Down towards the ground for it to absorb.
And as the water keeps flowing down to your toes,
All the heaviness,
Sadness,
Grief,
Anger,
Stress and anxiety that's not even yours to carry slowly starts to dissipate into the ground.
Relax if you feel any different.
Now deeply feel into these next affirmations as the water keeps cleansing your whole being.
I am protected,
I am loved and I'm free to let go from emotions,
Situations,
Memories that do not serve me anymore.

Now on your next inhale,
Visualize yourself walking towards a window,
Pulling back the curtain and feeling the warm,
Natural light of the sun.
Feeling the light penetrating through every cell of your body,
Fully nourishing you.
Take it all in as you deeply inhale through your nose and exhale out,
Soaking in the light for a short moment.
Now slowly start to wake up the body by breathing in and expanding your chest,
Gently move your arms,
Moving the toes,
Bringing awareness back into the room,
Getting back to the present moment,
Rolling your shoulders and neck if that feels good.
And when you're ready,
Gently opening your eyes.
