Coming at you with another good one today.
Humans are funny things,
Aren't we?
We can be cruising along,
Even keel,
Minding your own business,
When you find yourself suddenly pulling from your emotional graveyard.
Now,
What does that mean?
It means while in a calm state,
You suddenly start rehashing an old story,
That time when your mate did that thing to you or your partner or your friend or your sibling,
That thing that maybe happened a decade ago.
What's going on here?
Well,
Here's something to be aware of.
If you're the type that's used to being stressed and you're currently on your own journey to peace and calm,
Which a lot of people are right now,
Which is beautiful,
This one can trip you up.
The reason is because your body isn't used to calm.
It doesn't know what to do with that.
So it will conjure up some old grievances just to get back to a familiar emotional territory.
How whack is that?
But how cool that when we're aware of this,
We can stop it in its tracks.
This is the journey of conscious awareness.
It's part of my conscious quantum living program and it's incredibly powerful.
The trick is to be aware.
Be aware now,
Now,
Now.
It sounds simple,
But it's not.
We go unconscious all the time.
So the first thing is be aware.
Be aware that this is happening.
And second,
When you catch it,
Stop it.
Emotions will move on on their own in less than 90 seconds.
If it lasts longer than that,
You're getting caught up in your story and keeping it around.
So stop it.
And here's how.
First,
You want to recognize the emotion,
All right?
Well,
First,
You have to recognize it's happening.
Then recognize the emotion.
And I mean that.
Tap into it.
Thank it.
Yeah,
I know that's weird,
But it works.
And then with attention and intention,
Let it go.
And have fun with this if you want,
Right?
Maybe see that that emotion or energy as a ball that you're pulling out of your body.
Or simply sweep it out and away with your hands.
Do whatever works for you.
Experiment until you figure out what works for you.
And as the saying goes,
Let that shit go.
Then you're going to come back to focus on your body.
Take some deep breaths to bring you back consciously and with intention.
Return to calm.
Acknowledge that this is a good thing.
This is the new normal you're fostering.

Training the body to a new normal isn't easy,
But it's totally doable one step at a time.
