Ryan is a Mindfulness Teacher, Vocal Sound Therapist, and Musician based in Bristol, in the UK. He advocates a holistic approach to self-exploration, community building, and wellbeing rooted in mindfulness, vocal expression, and embodiment practices. Individual work is a valuable aspect of any personal practice; however, Ryan believes that lasting transformation, insight, and healing happens in community, in relation to others; as such, he is committed to engaging with and supporting communities, and facilitating groups, in addition to private 1:1 work. Ryan's mission is to cultivate and serve spaces and communities with the highest degree of ethical integrity in which people may connect, and explore and express themselves safely and authentically, free from judgement, with loving encouragement and skilled facilitation where appropriate. As a Vocal Sound Therapist, Ryan supports people to feel at home in their voice. He teaches how to use the voice as your most powerful channel of expression, and your most potent personal medicine. Ryan has been a professional voice actor since 2018 and has coached people to find their authentic "home voice", and to speak from that foundation with confidence and purpose in their personal and professional lives. He leads workshops, facilitates retreats, and teaches and coaches privately. Beyond the meditation and wellbeing space, Ryan is a professional Voice Actor, and student of Yoga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

My takeaway: I listened to this twice, once while in the flux of difficult moment and later returning on a calm morning. I returned because I only heard the first half. My takeaway: Detach from thoughts and feelings by anchoring to breath. I modified to Ujjayi ocean breath to be a bit low profile. Earlier today I was angry but am doing this to eind down in evening. I will now save to my go-to quick reset.
