When you're ready,

Just go ahead and find a comfortable position,

One that you can feel like you can settle into for the next bunch of minutes.

Just arriving to your body by closing down the eyes or finding a soft gaze.

I often find myself in streams and waterfalls,

Breathing in the nature around me to help ground and center me in the present moment.

So as you listen to this meditation,

Perhaps you can visualize your favorite space in nature.

Just take in the quality of the air,

Perhaps the sounds,

Smells,

And just resting in the space as you listen to these words gently guiding you into this grounding,

Arriving to this space of stillness and silence,

And just noticing your body resting here,

This image before you,

Around you,

Surrounding you,

And feeling rooted and grounded to the space,

Allowing your body to soften and softening into the body right here beneath the skin,

The sensation like warm water soothing from the inside out,

The realization of the power of mind to color experience as thoughts drift from planning to remembering.

As I direct attention back to intention of connecting within,

This experience of remembering home,

The security felt sense of goodness right here in the heart.

This light of knowing,

Guiding,

Creating,

And peace,

It's available in a minute.

As I sit with the awareness of meditation surrounding the scene,

The spaces within feeling lighter now as tension dissolves and a current of ease pervades,

A welcome visitor to inhabit my being for a while.

In the steadiness and density of the body,

An image forms of a stream.

I visit often with its smooth,

Clay-filled rock,

All grounded in small waterfalls and cool dunk pools,

A place of solitude and beauty,

Too brilliant to explain through words.

It's here I connect to my spirit of playfulness and wonder,

Where this consistent urge to grow and evolve settles for a time,

Relaxed in the environment of ever-changing nature,

Glistening and blooming before my eyes as I drink in its pure radiance.

Meandering in the stream,

Mindfully choosing my path,

I adventure forward with childlike curiosity,

The joyful energy in my body spreading out through my limbs,

The gratefulness I feel to be healthy enough to navigate my journey with power and grace.

So continuing to settle into this experience,

Surrounded by your beautiful place in nature,

Continuing to listen and learn and trust your true nature.

Thank you so much for sitting with me today.

When you're ready,

You can gently open your eyes or lift your gaze and continue on with your day.

I struggled to settle, monkey mind was overactive, but gained some peace in the back half of this sit. The voice, the pacing, the background audio—all of it, perfection. Thank you for helping to calm me.
