In this meditation we are returning once more to the Muladhara, Root Chakra, to explore the aspect of belonging. What I feel is freeing and beautiful is to feel and understand that subtle energy of belonging to ourselves, of being rooted in an inner stability, that as the outer world shifts and wobbles we remain within a sense of safety. Safety is not something we wait to be given; it’s something we remember and reclaim from within. And we can also remind ourselves that we are never truly alone. The mycelial web of humanity, the forest of unseen kin, holds us. These are the themes that we explore within this meditation. Much love Rosanne xx

Hello and welcome.

Today I am inspired to go back to our roots and feel deeper into what the Root Chakra,

Muladhara,

Can offer us.

I've just spent the weekend on retreat with 25 amazing beautiful women and the sense of belonging was so nurturing and nourishing.

As I return to the real world,

That sense of being held stays with me and I want to amplify that not only for myself but also bring that sense of belonging,

Of being held to your Root Chakra energy.

But what is freeing and beautiful to feel and understand is that subtle energy of belonging to ourselves,

Of being rooted in an inner stability,

That as the outer world shifts and wobbles we remain within a sense of safety.

Safety is not something we wait to be given,

It's something we remember and reclaim from within.

And yet we are never truly alone.

The mycelial web of humanity,

The forest of unseen kin holds us.

So within this meditation you will feel safe,

Grounded within your Root Chakra but also expansive so that you will be inwardly strong but soul connected.

So let's begin.

Come into the stillness.

Allow your body to settle,

To soften,

To arrive fully into this moment.

You don't need to do anything right now.

There is nowhere to be but here.

Allow your breath to begin to slow as if the earth itself is exhaling through you.

With every breath you land more deeply into your body.

With every breath you come home.

So draw your awareness to the base of your spine,

The seat of your Root Chakra,

Your place of grounding,

Your deep inner knowing that says,

I belong.

Feel into your hips,

Your legs,

Your feet.

Begin to imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet and from the base of your spine.

Soft luminous roots reaching down deep into the earth beneath you.

There is no effort here.

These roots are a part of you.

They know where to go.

They know how to hold you.

Down through soil and stone your roots move with ease.

And as they go deeper,

They begin to touch the quiet pulsing energy currents of the earth.

Gentle,

Ancient,

Wise.

Allow yourself to connect.

Let these currents begin to rise into you.

Up through your roots.

Filling your body with a steady,

Nourishing sense of support.

You are safe here.

You are held.

Now begin to feel this sense of belonging deepen.

Not just to the earth,

But to yourself.

You do not need permission to feel safe.

You do not need approval to belong.

These truths live inside you.

Even as the world around you has felt unstable,

Even if your foundations have been shaken,

You can return to your root.

To the steady presence within you that is always here.

So gently say to yourself,

I belong to myself.

I trust my presence.

I am my own safe place.

Feel how the earth echoes back to you.

Yes,

Yes you are.

Now feel into the space beyond your own body.

To the quiet hum of others who are also walking this path.

You may never know their names.

You may never meet them.

But there is a field of souls rooted and rising beside you.

A sisterhood and brotherhood of the grounded ones.

Feel their roots intertwining with yours in the rich dark soil beneath it all.

You are not alone.

Let this knowing steady you.

A great forest of souls each standing in their truth.

Each helping hold the earth's energy steady.

You are part of something vast and beautiful.

Now imagine yourself as a tree.

Feel the strength of your roots.

So deep,

So steady.

Feel the energy of your trunk,

Your spine strong,

Centred.

And now gently begin to imagine your branches reaching up,

Opening into the sky.

Your roots do not hold you back.

They give you the strength to grow,

To stretch,

To blossom.

Feel the air around you,

The light,

The space.

You are rooted and free.

Grounded and expanding.

Feel within you the peace and the power of this truth.

And say to yourself,

I am grounded in the truth of who I am.

I am held.

Invite in a deeper breath.

Feel the energy of the earth still pulsing gently beneath you.

Feel the quiet strength within you.

This sacred rootedness,

This belonging that cannot be taken from you.

Know that you can return to this place whenever you need.

You are always connected.

You are always supported.

You are always enough.

Take one more breath in.

And a long,

Soft exhale.

And when you're ready,

You can begin to return,

Carrying this rooted calm within you.

You are held.

You are home.

Gently bring awareness back to your body.

And gently,

In your own time,

Bring yourself back into your space.

Om Shanti.
