So let's start either sitting or lying with the body still soft from the night's sleep.

Awake,

Refreshed,

But still relaxed.

And take a moment or two to observe how your body feels after your sleep.

Feel yourself grounded.

Feel the weight of your body,

The softness of your body,

And become aware of your breath.

The gentle rise and fall of your chest with your natural soft breath.

Bring your attention inward to your center and feel yourself in this present moment.

In the here and now,

The eternal now.

What joy to have woken up with the ability to harness this awareness of this present moment.

If you've woken with any feelings of heaviness,

Worry,

Or anxiety,

Or feelings of heaviness,

Worry,

Or uneasiness about the day,

Then just go ahead and scan through your body and find where this feeling is sitting within you.

And once you have located this heaviness,

Take a moment first to send the attention of your breath to this area.

Allow your exhalation to soften and release.

Send compassion and understanding and allow yourself to detach mentally from this worry by becoming aware of it within your body.

You are not suppressing or denying.

You're simply acknowledging and releasing.

If you have woken feeling calm and peaceful,

Then focus on witnessing this serenity within your body.

Feel the harmonious state you are in.

Soft breath expanding and consolidating this within you,

Allowing you to take this into your day.

Today is a brand new day.

You have the opportunity to make of it what you can.

So let's take a deep breath in through the nostrils,

A beautiful,

Deep,

Cleansing breath,

Inviting in the newness of the day as you fill your body with energy.

Allow your breath to soften into its natural rhythm.

Each soft inhalation inviting in gratitude,

Love and joy.

And as you breathe in,

Allow your breath to soften into its natural rhythm.

Allow your breath to soften into its natural rhythm.

Allow your breath to soften into its natural rhythm.

Love and joy.

And as you wake this morning,

What are you feeling grateful for?

The sunshine,

Your bed,

Someone,

Something.

Allow this gratitude to expand in your heart with each breath.

Feel into the love that surrounds your gratitude.

Feel into the joy that springs from that love.

Allow your vibration to rise up.

And as we welcome in gratitude,

Love and joy,

We also want to set our intention to let that emanate from us.

To be kind,

To find moments of joy in our day,

To have moments of learning and growth.

Tune your attention into your heart center and explore what your heart's desire is for this new day.

Our heart is the energetic center of our bodies,

Where the earthly energies meet the spiritual energies.

It holds your balance,

Your harmony and your wholeness.

When we go out into the world from our heart energy,

We will be showing up in alignment with our best selves and with the world around us.

Now,

We don't know how our day will unfold.

So we must allow ourselves to surrender our control,

To find flow with the day ahead.

And when we find this surrender,

When we find this flow,

With this comes an inner confidence,

A sense of,

Yeah,

I got this.

So bring yourself back to your intention for your day.

It might be that you want to take with you this sense of peace.

It might be that you need confidence.

It might be that you want to feel compassionate.

You might want to feel radiant.

Whatever it is,

Feel into how that feels.

Sense into the sensation of this fulfilled intention.

Visualize how that feels.

Visualize how your day will be as you embody this way of being.

You can even whisper this intention to yourself out loud.

In the present tense,

I am peaceful,

Confident.

I am radiant.

So now taking a long,

Slow,

Deep inhalation,

Allow this intention to settle within your heart.

And another beautiful,

Deep,

Energizing inhalation.

And as you exhale,

Let go of anything that needs to be released.

And again,

Now as you take one more luxuriant inhalation,

Begin to open your eyes and move your body as you gently come out of your meditation,

Ready for the day ahead.

And with that,

I hope you have a fantastic day.

You've got this.

Om Shanti.
