A stripped-back basic mantra practice, with minimal instruction, based on the We Meditate technique. One minute of introduction followed by 13 minutes of silent meditation and one minute open intention setting to close.

Get comfortable and close your eyes.

Take a moment to physically relax.

Take a full breath in through your nose and sigh it all out.

Release any tension you might be holding in your body.

Now begin thinking the mantra aham in a laid-back way,

Not minding when you get lost in thought.

When you find yourself thinking shrug it off and come back to the mantra in as nonchalant a way as you can.

I'll let you know when the time is up.

Okay,

Stop thinking the mantra but keep your eyes closed.

What positive qualities do you want to embody today?

Take a few moments to think about them.

And what are you grateful for today?

Enjoy the rest of your day and don't forget to make time again tomorrow to meditate.
