Welcome,

I'm Rona Lynn,

And today I'm going to give you a little push in the right direction for your life.

We only have a few minutes,

Just 10 or 15,

So I need you to trust me and allow yourself to surrender to my voice and these sounds for the next few minutes.

It's natural that you may be skeptical about what could possibly be accomplished in just 10 minutes,

But if you allow yourself to receive,

You will be amazed.

So please find a place where you can be alone and undisturbed for about 15 minutes.

Go do what you need to do before continuing,

I will wait.

When you return,

I'm going to guide you through a process that will change the way you feel about being lost or confused about your life direction.

Are you ready?

Let's begin.

Listen to my voice.

If at any time you notice negative thoughts or sensations rising in your mind or your body,

I want you to welcome them.

Yes,

You heard me right.

We're not going to try to soothe them or dismiss them or bury them.

We're going to welcome them.

Trust me,

Just for the next few minutes,

You have nothing to lose.

It's natural that your mind is active and full of ideas and opinions.

They serve you very well often.

Allow yourself to hear my voice,

But don't be so alert and focused that you think you're in control.

Just allow yourself to drift,

To soften and surrender.

You will not miss anything if you start to fall asleep or your mind wanders.

You are here still present to the sounds and they know what you need.

Just be open and curious.

Notice your breath.

Is it smooth and regular?

Jagged and difficult?

Just notice it for now.

We're not going to change it.

There's nothing you have to do,

But be open to my suggestions and to your sensations.

Just allow.

As you notice judgments or doubts,

I want you to imagine creating more space for them.

As you breathe,

Imagine creating a place where they can come out of hiding and invite them to play.

Imagine a green field and your breath is a gentle breeze on a warm sunny day.

Invite your thoughts to come out.

This will seem strange and that's okay.

They are not used to this invitation.

They're used to being limited and shunned.

Diminished or dismissed.

Welcome them out into the sunshine of your imaginary field and invite them to play.

Can you see their confusion?

Their doubt?

Like shy creatures wondering if it is safe,

They timidly step forward.

It doesn't matter what it is.

It might be a doubt.

It might be a criticism.

We're not following a thought stream.

We are just opening the door for them to escape.

Feel the lightness as they pass through this door into the sunshine.

Feel yourself surrender more and more.

Notice as more and more of your thoughts come out into the sunshine,

You begin to feel lighter and lighter.

More spacious inside.

Filling all the spaces where old memories and concerns were stored.

Where doubts and worries laid waiting to crush your dreams.

Out into the sunshine they come.

And you welcome this feeling of ease.

And as you stand here upon the soft,

Cool grass,

You look towards the east.

Just imagine it in your mind.

The direction of where the sun rises each day.

Imagine hearing a gentle brook.

Water washing over smooth stones.

And you let this water wash away your fears.

Old memories of childhood wrongs.

Dissolve as you let the waters heal the earth.

And feel the wind upon your face.

That strong center that knows what is most important in your life.

You notice a loyal friend or teacher.

Maybe it's a dog at your side.

A being that believes in you.

And has come to remind you of your strength and endurance.

They are with you as you turn to the west.

And you have a clear vision of your path.

It is not a clear vision to eternity.

And your spirit whispers to you what step to take.

Your inner wise advocate holds counsel with your teachers.

And together they turn you to the south.

Here is where you release your past.

You recognize truth as you feel connected to all the creatures of this world.

Your body is balanced with your heart.

And it takes direction from your teachers.

You are ready to move into the future one step at a time.

Confident you will be of good service to this world.

From this space you can connect and remember what is important to you.

What is it that comes to mind now?

The first thing.

You are ready.

You have strength and courage.

Endurance and compassion.

You are ready and capable to take one small step.

That will move you in the direction of your desire.

You know what to do.

Name it.

This first small step.

You can repeat this experience as often as necessary.

To help you remember your life direction.

Take your time to come back to this world.

Fully present and ready to take action from this light,

Spacious field of play.

You take good care.
