Hi,

I'm Ronald Lynn from Gong Bath Meditations and I'm here to help you release your anger.

We don't have much time,

Just 10 or 15 minutes,

So I want you to trust me.

I get it,

You need help now.

On a scale of 1 to 10,

You're probably measuring above 8 for the anger you feel inside.

We're going to get that number down and bring you some relief.

So go somewhere where you can be alone for a few minutes.

Maybe it's the bathroom,

Maybe it's your car,

But don't be driving.

Pull over for a few minutes,

Go park.

Listen to my voice,

And if you can,

I want you to use yours.

If this is your first time here with me,

You might want to just listen,

I get it.

It's okay.

In time,

You'll trust me more and more.

So let's get started.

Close your eyes.

I want you to feel your neck and your shoulders.

Notice your breath.

Can you make a sound?

If not,

Just listen to me.

Trust me.

You have nothing to lose.

Feel between your shoulder blades and your back.

Feel your back and what do you notice?

Send your breath there.

Feel the weight in your shoulders.

Feel the weight of your anger and your concerns and your fears.

Feel your belly.

What do you notice?

Just the very first thing.

Send your breath there and let it move.

Can you make it a little bit more spacious?

Making a bit more room for your breath to move?

It feels stuck.

That's it.

It's safe to let it move.

Your breath wants to help you.

Listen to my voice.

Stay here.

As thoughts come to you,

Let them just float away with each exhalation.

I'm here to help you and your breath wants to help you.

Can you let it move a bit more?

That's it.

Let your breath move like a river over and around your organs,

Washing them,

Soothing them,

Softening and loosening the tension it finds there in your belly.

Breaking down the stones to carry them away as you exhale.

Make a sound.

Even if it's just in your imagination,

Let your breath escape with a sound.

As you take in a new breath,

Feel it in your chest and then in your belly.

Let it explore.

It knows where it wants to go.

Just let your breath go and let your breath move.

That's it.

Now bring your attention to your lower back and your bottom.

Can you sink into your support,

Whatever it is?

Can you sigh?

Breathe as you make a sound.

Bring your attention to your feet and feel your toes.

Imagine your breath sliding down your legs,

Massaging and softening all of your muscles down your legs,

Moving like a river through your bloodstream until it finally reaches your feet.

Feel it moving over and under each toe like a thread,

Silky and smooth.

Feel your breath and notice what is shifting.

Imagine your breath moving without restriction as it massages all of your muscles,

Soothing your cells,

Strengthening your bones,

Cleansing your organs,

Bringing a sense of calm to your belly and back as it moves gently all the way down your legs and pulls near your toes.

Imagine your toes at the edge of this river,

Feeling the trickle of cool water wash over them.

Imagine that coolness being absorbed by your breath as it cycles back up your body,

Bringing a sense of calm and release to your hips.

You notice your legs relax.

As it moves into your belly,

You feel it expand and soften.

Can you soften it a bit more?

Breathe.

Yes.

Yes.

It's safe.

You are safe.

Just a little bit more.

Can you let go?

Every little bit is helping you restore,

Restore your mind,

Your heart,

Your body.

Can you feel it?

Can you feel how something inside you wants to relax,

Wants to feel calm and settled?

Yes.

Yes.

Notice your back as your breath washes over it,

Moving up to your shoulders.

Can you drop the weight you are carrying?

Drop the weight of your anger,

Your concerns,

Your fears like heavy stones.

Drop,

Drop,

Drop into the river below.

Notice your arms and hands.

Feel how they are softening,

How different they are from just minutes ago.

Your breath is moving slowly,

Easily.

Let it massage the back of your neck.

Imagine a cool hand at the back of your neck,

A friendly touch,

Letting you know that everything is going to be okay,

That you are going to be okay.

A touch from a dear friend who loves you and supports you and understands you.

This friend is here now with you.

It's your breath.

Always here.

No matter what,

It supports you and cares for you.

You're ready.

Ready to start coming back.

But you are different.

Things are shifted.

Just enough that you can continue your day with more ease.

Perhaps you'll feel confused about what to do,

What to say.

Do nothing.

Say nothing.

Wait.

No good comes from anger.

Listen to your breath.

What is it telling you?

That quiet whisper.

What small step can you take that will be kind?

Sometimes it is just to be quiet.

To safely examine your assumptions.

To be still so that you can hear your breath whisper to you.

It knows what you need and what to do.

Listen.

What do you notice that is different?

How do you feel?

Now when you assess your anger between one and ten,

What number will you give it?

Can you see how you've released your anger even a tiny bit?

You can do this again and again.

You are more capable than you imagine.

You can feel your anger and you can release your anger just like breath.

You can soften your anger and let it move through you like a river.

Let the stormy waters pass instead of being carried away on them.

Stand at the river's edge and breathe.

Watch.

Listen.

Until you feel the calm waters from where you will take action.

I hope this has helped you.

Take good care.

Blessed be.

This was more helpful than I expected. The rhythm of the drum combined with the breathwork softened the anger enough to work with it. Thank you.

Exceeded my expectations, by far. Brilliant and so helpful on a morning that anger had me frozen and hard in its grip. Shifted enough to move forward and reclaim my day and look at the lessons of my anger from a place of calm. Beautiful and soulful meditation, sonically and vocally. Love the gong and drum combo.

This one really works for me when I’m angry. I have to be alone to really get the full benefit of it but I highly suggest anyone try it.

That was a wonderful mediation. The drum beat was soothing, like a steady heart beat. I opted to imagine that I was doing the breath sounds and that worked for me. A great one if besieged by angry thoughts. It really helped me return to calm. Thank you for sharing you skills and this practise. I hooe you upload more examples of your work. Thank you.
