Welcome to your evening five-minute ritual.
Today has come to a close and it's time for your final five-minute ritual for the day.
So get nice and comfortable and close your eyes.
Tune into yourself and notice where your attention goes.
Take a slow deep breath and let it travel all throughout you.
Imagine this breath gathering up any remaining tensions of the day,
Dissolving them and carrying them away as you exhale.
Your day is done.
You did your best and tomorrow is a new day with new opportunities.
Congratulate yourself for the resilience,
Strength and courage you showed by completing the day that was given to you.
Be grateful for showing up for your practice and any challenges that you encountered.
Trust that tomorrow will bring more ease and joy.
You are creating a new habit of making conscious time for stillness and restoration.
Say thank you to your body for sustaining you.
Then starting at your head,
Notice your closed eyes and invite relaxation to your mind,
Your neck,
Your shoulders.
Feel yourself surrender to the support beneath you and invite your breath to bring more and more relaxation to each part of you.
Let your belly relax and your hips and thighs.
Let your arms and legs rest gently.
Prepare yourself for a complete surrender to the night as you listen to my words.
I make time for you to relax.
I make time in my days for enjoyment and let night restore me.
I surrender my thoughts so that sleep falls upon me like a warm blanket,
Covering and protecting me.
Surrendering allows me to wake up each morning with the desire to balance my life as much as possible.
That balance comes from ensuring I take time to calm and restore myself each day.
A balanced life creates more joy and ease in my life,
So that I am happy and content.
I practice pausing when things get heated or hectic,
So I don't overreact.
I give myself these final five minutes before bed to reflect on my day with gratitude and prepare for a restful sleep.
More and more,
I enjoy these simple five-minute rituals that remind me of my commitment to a balanced,
Contented life where I manage my energy and my enthusiasm for life.
I appreciate the simplicity of tuning in to my centre for five minutes and each day it becomes easier and more joyful.
Today I am thankful for my practice that helped calm and ease balance out the stressful moments of my day.
Here are three questions for you this evening.
What was the most joyful moment of my day?
How did I share enjoyment with my loved ones?
What is my plan for tomorrow to ensure my commitment to creating balance and enjoyment and ease in my life?
I am ready for a good night's sleep and look forward to my morning ritual.
Well done.
Have a good evening.
I'll talk to you tomorrow.
Bye for now.
